House met or exceeded our expectations. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was the best equipped we’ve been in. The location was central to everything we wanted to do, and was very quiet. We were here in early October, but still enjoyed the short walk to a gorgeous beach. We would definitely stay here again!

We traveled up to Gloucester to attend a family wedding and this house was a perfect spot to gather with our family. The home has a beautiful, tranquil decoration style, with an open layout that encourages gathering on the main floor, as well as a nice den downstairs. It also has a large deck out back with plenty of room to enjoy a meal or sit and relax. The house also has one of the best equipped kitchens I've seen in a rental home and the owners have thoughtfully stocked it with lots of little extras like spices, etc. The house is also situated by two nearby beaches (Long Beach and Good Harbor Beach) and it was fun to be able to stroll on the beach. We were fortunate to have great weather and very much enjoyed the property inside and out. We'd definitely rent it again and hope to be back another time!

We rented this house to stay at for a nearby wedding, and it was perfect. We were able to walk to the beach and get to many little local coastal towns with just a short drive. The house itself had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Would definitely recommend!

excellent location. nice property. freezer was dead from the time we arrived and owner sent a guy over who paid lip service about delivering a portable freezer but never actually did. owner said she would refund me for spoiled food but hasn’t done so as far as i know. owner claimed she hadn’t heard about the issue from the handyman- whole thing was disappointing and made a small inconvenience into an annoying, expensive hassle. it would have been easier to do the right thing and replace the fridge.i have been a professional propertymanager for forty years and this waspoor communication and non-existent follow-through.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach house in Gloucester. The house itself was spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and spread out, with a central kitchen and living room area that led to a fantastic deck. The location is truly unbeatable. We were just a short, easy walk to Long Beach, so convenient to be able to come and go as we pleased without worrying about parking or having to go back to use the bathroom. The evening walks to get ice cream was also a perk. Easy drive to downtown Gloucester and Rockport for dinners out or shopping.We highly recommend this beach house to any family looking for a relaxing, spacious, and perfectly located beach getaway in Gloucester.

We booked a long weekend at this house to have a weekend away with our adult children and had a great time. I'm very picky about VRBO homes and this one checked all the boxes. The house was super clean! It had plenty of amenities in the kitchen for cooking. I loved that there were lots of towels for the beach and showering after the beach. Everything you need for the beach is in their shed. There's a mini split on the main floor that keeps the kitchen/living room cool, however the bedrooms on that floor were warm.Overall - we can't wait to come back!

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

The rental was perfect for a quiet girl's weekend. The house is split level so downstairs was actually more a suite if only using one room. It rained all afternoon one day, so we chilled at the house, made snacks and dinner, watched tv, worked on a puzzle. The house is setup nicely for this. Fully stocked kitchen. Lovely quiet area to walk around, check out the beach, and very quick drive to Rockport and Gloucester for site seeing and shopping. Another plus is there's an ice cream shop just a few properties away. Great for an after dinner treat. Would stay here again.

Well maintained

My family and I have been staying in Long Beach / Good Harbor for 30 years. This house is as advertised. Clean, neat, near Long Beach and the Ice cream store. The parking for multiple cars was a benefit for all family and guests. The back deck was great for family cook out and gathering. Back yard for the kids. The house itself has a great kitchen. The open space to be able to conjure together was great for our family. The four bedrooms slept all of us. The two full baths supported the needs. The kids downstairs and adults upstairs. Awesome! Then when we had an issue, the owners promptly responded and had issue resolved timely. The area is safe / walkable and friendly.

Perfect Home Base for a Working Team Retreat

We enjoyed a six night stay at this location and had enough space to sleep seven adults with plenty of room for meetings and discussion. Amenities are very well thought out and thorough, with impressively sharp kitchen knives and a full complement of pots and pans. Fireplace was "temporarily out of service" for our stay and the stairs down to the lower level are missing a handrail which was difficult for the less spry member of our party. Location can't be beat--we walked to the beach every day and supermarkets and restaurants are easily reached by car. One of the top vacation rental stays we've experienced.

Great stay

We had an awesome stay at this property. Amazing location close to beach and Surfside Subs. It was super nice having all the beach chairs and beach wagon. Would have been great if they had ac in the bedrooms but no complaints, we'd definitely book again.

Lovely Beach Week

We had a lovely week at Rockport house. It was a quick 2 min walk to Long Beach and a 5 min walk to good Harbor Beach. Also there is an ice cream and takeout pizza /sandwich shop on the same block which was perfect for quick and easy dinners. The house was clean and had a lovely deck for dinners /relaxing. We will be back for sure!
