Perfect lake vacation

We had a fabulous week and hope to make it an annual tradition. Comfortable accommodations and a perfect location on the lake for boating and swimming. Can’t wait to go back!

My family had an amazing vacation at this lake house!! It was very clean and spacious for our family of 8!! One of the best parts was the huge beach! The kids were able to play in the sand and it was not rocky. The owner is very friendly and easy to contact with any issues. Highly recommend this lake house for a relaxing and fun vacation getaway!!

Sacandaga Rental

House was great! Very clean, everything worked as it should. This was our 4th year staying there, second owner and everything was great! Brent was great, very responsive to our questions. I recommend this rental and Brent as the owner to anyone!

Perfect stay at the lake

Traveled to Sacandaga for our yearly ice fishing trip, this home had everything we needed. Easy access to the lake and everything was clean. Owner was great to deal with, hope to be back next year!

Amazing house and location

We loved our stay and were so relaxed. The view of the lake and proximity of the house to the lake was perfect. Our son fished off the dock and we enjoyed renting a boat and exploring the lake. the house was super clean, cozy and inviting. Antonio made us feel welcome and was so easy to work with.. We just can't recommend this house enough.

House was just as described, very clean and right on the lake. We were able to take the machines out to fish at any point. The house has a lot of glass and huge porch, that’ gave you amazing sun rises every morning right across the lake. We are planning to return and look forward to renting again .

Family get away

We try to get away for a few days as a family….meaning parents and two young adults. We had the best time! Everyone had plenty of space. We ate dinner and played games on the deck. It was nice to reconnect as a family.

Fishing and relaxing On Great Sagandaga vacation

The house was perfect and the location on the lake cant get any better. We had a new dock for our boat and the local neighbors are great people. The fishing on the lake is excellent and great fishing is straight off the dock. The owners were very friendly and provided a great vacation for us. I will be booking another trip there as soon as I can. If you are looking to get away from the busy lake George /Saratoga this would be the place. Quiet and relaxing. Locals are great

Pristine, quaint, serene, etc. Camp. Hope to stay again next year.Fabulous communication. Absolutely everything anyone could ask for is provided. They even have a keurig type coffee maker And a drip type.The porch facing the lake was my favorite spot. So many beautiful birds serenade you. At night there are fireflies sparkling. The sound of the leafs on the trees rustling with the breeze is magnificent. I was "home" for my 56th Amsterdam High School Reunion. The location is easy to get to Amsterdam if you need to. My cousin took us on his pontoon boat and we saw 3 eagles in a nest on Sand Island.Honestly, I didn't want to leave.

The perfect spot!

We loved our ten day stay at the lakefront home! The view of the lake was wonderful to wake up to every morning. The house was very comfortable, and Brent was quick to help us with any questions we had. We wanted to be able to take a half-day walk or hike each day, and the house was perfectly located for that. Using the GPX apps AllTrails and Wikiloc, we found over 30 trails within an easy driving distance. Our favorite was the Tenant Creek Falls trail. A short loop walk that can be taken directly from the house is the Peninsular Heights walk (on Wikiloc, 2 miles).

Thanksgiving on the Lake 2024

Overall was good and we enjoyed our family visit. We were disappointed with lake levels at this time of year so lake could not be accessed from the property. Recommend checking USGS lake data before traveling with any watercraft. House was nice. Knotty pine paneling and ceiling were a great look Kitchen area was fairly well equipped. Comfortable family room as shown in photos on the site. Two bedrooms were great size. Two were quite small, but we made do. Parking was good. Covered carport was nice when it snowed. Wireless access was good.

Nice Location

House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck. Ice maker doesnt work in freezer. Minor issues that could be addressed to provide a nicer experience for guests. Overall the house was not bad and we had a nice stay, but not 5 stars worthy.

The husband and I stayed here for the 2nd half of our 20yr wedding anniversary trip. It was our first time visiting Great Sacandaga Lake. Even though the water levels were really low (late September) we were still able to get out on the water…. did some fishing, explored Sand Island and even caught an amazing Pike. House was very clean and kitchen stocked well, check in was extremely easy! Brian the neighbor was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place, great location!

This place is adorable! A perfect mix of past & present with added coziness throughout. Nicely appointed with many extras (kayaks, lawn games, fire pit(s) , board games, books) to make your stay more enjoyable! The location is perfect and offers amazing views of the lake. The neighbors are friendly and add to the welcoming atmosphere. We had a great time at this lovely little cabin on the lake! We will be back!
