We were excited about this stay but left disappointed, as the experience fell short of expectations due to discrepancies between the advertisement and reality.The booking process was unnecessarily stressful, requiring payment of an undisclosed credit card surcharge and a digital signature through a system lacking clear data protection safeguards. Parking was advertised as available via the hotel, but this was actually never an option.Despite being described as refurbished, the room felt outdated, with mould in the bathroom, chipped paint, broken items, and non-functional lights. Cleanliness issues mentioned in previous reviews persisted, and despite having to pay a cleaning fee, we had to clean to be able to use it.Facilities were lacking: the minibar-sized fridge was unusable without defrosting, the kitchenette was in fact a bench, and items like glasses and cutlery were insufficient for the advertised number of guests. When we told Olivia, someone entered our room without our knowledge or consent to leave some cutlery.The advertised ocean view mostly consisted of streets and buildings, accompanied by noise, and gym access was unavailable despite repeated follow-ups. Hygiene was a concern as we were instructed to keep rubbish in the room for 12 days.Wi-Fi, mentioned in the check-in instructions, was later to be excluded.These cumulative issues made it difficult to feel comfortable, and unfortunately, the stay did not meet the expectations set by the listing.
