DO NOT STAY HERE - it honestly fees like a scam . We paid premium price for a two bedroom ocean / beach view apartment and we were given a room staring into buildings on level 2 with no view of the ocean. We complained to the management staff and they said they couldn’t do anything about it , that’s how the room is classified. The room also had a terrible smell, the couch was filthy , stained and stunk. The ensuite bathroom shower was full of mould and could not be used. We raised all of these issues with reception immediately and they gave us glen 20 and said they had just deep cleaned all the apartments 1 week before and there was nothing they could do. If that was clean I would hate to see the apartments when they are dirty . Aircon in bedroom does not work. Windows can be barely opened as they are so old. The curtains are old and dusty and filthy and and smell. There is so much dust and dirt on the window sills inside and balconies. Avoid staying here at all costs unless you are happy to waste your money . We’ve stayed in much older apartments in Broadbeach that are far cleaner and superior to this . We had driven 8 hours from Sydney with two kids and had no choice but to stay as it was over New Year’s Eve and everything was booked out. We understand sometimes things happen but the Management at ocean Royale and Expedia's customer service did nothing to rectify. Save your money and go elsewhere.
