Disappointing experience despite great location
While the location and view were nice, our stay had significant issues that affected our overall experience. Upon entering the unit, we were immediately greeted by a strong, unpleasant odor. It was late, so we didn’t investigate it right away, but when I sat on the couch, I discovered it was soaking wet. The smell was clearly coming from the couch, and it had a strong urine-like odor.
We contacted property management multiple times, but unfortunately, there was no resolution during our stay. As a result, we had to spend the entire week with a couch that smelled strongly of urine. We even had to move the couch and clean the floor beneath it, as a puddle of urine had accumulated under the furniture. It was a very unpleasant experience, especially considering the amount of cleaning we had to do ourselves.
Additionally, the air conditioning was only in the living room, which left the rest of the apartment uncomfortably warm. We also couldn’t keep the windows or doors open because of the presence of bugs (cockroaches) on the balcony.
While the location is convenient, and the view was nice when visible, ongoing construction in the area blocked some of it, and the noise and disruption were a bit of an issue as well.
Overall, this stay was not what we had hoped for, and I would not recommend it based on the condition of the unit and lack of timely resolution from the management.
