I’ll describe the apartment in point form, too many issues to describe in detail.
- dirty in general even after cleaners had just been through, it had a foul smell
- unsafe sliding door that came off the tracks in lounge room & nearly hit the railing, luckily I caught it
- master bedroom sliding door didn’t open at all
- master bed had a mattress stiff as planks of wood, we all slept in one room, not ideal for a family holiday in a 2 bedroom apartment
- shower leaked water all onto the bathroom floor
- bathroom had cockroaches in it & lights that were too dim to do make up in front of or to be able to see to shave
- kitchen had ants, rangehood was held together with duct tape & didn’t work
- the tiles had big cracks in them
- one couch had it’s legs missing & was uncomfortable & low, hard to get up off, other couch was unstable & wobbly
- air conditioning didn’t work
- front door lock was loose & unsecured
- minimal basic supplies at apartment, eg 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 people for 5 days, so cheap
- water stains running down walls
- light switches were grubby & yellow
- light fixtures were full of dead bugs
- view was nice, not the best
The saving grace for us, we were together as a family, but after 5 years of financial struggles & our first holiday together, it was so underwhelming, I had to put on a brave face for the family. Trust reviews & do not book this place. A week has gone by & the host won’t return our calls or messages. I want a refund, at least 30%……..
