Viaje familiar con niños

The first thing to say is that we did enjoy our stay, and our kids had a great time. We had read the reviews and knew what to expect and paid around $220 a night for a two bedroom apartment. This is budget accommodation so that’s what you should expect.
Room
We stayed in a superior room and I wouldn’t stay in anything less here. It was very basic and dated, but still comfortable. Mostly clean (the couch needs a steam clean). The carpet was new in our apartment, as were the bench tops in the kitchen, and appliances had been upgraded. Stairs became tiresome with a pram, but we knew this before coming.
We are a family of four with 2 kids under 6, and I would say this resort is probably more suited to families with older kids who would enjoy the amenities more. It is loud into the night as there are kids in the pool until late. Also fine by us.
The splash zone doesn’t allow adults down the slides, which makes it hard with little ones. It is well manned and managed though with a life guard.
The amount of pools was great, but they were just a little too cold (it’s late August we stayed though). My three year old didn’t tolerate the temperature of the water and even I was struggling. They are well maintained and clean.
Restaurant and food is basic too but absolutely fine for snacks/ice cream.
Woolworths, beach, shops and restaurants are all walking distance. When the tram line is finished this will be a great location to be.
Staff are lovely, helpful, friendly.
