This place is amazing, with easy access to Golden and Kicking Horse. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was clean and in great shape, plus we loved having a pool table!

Hassle free. Exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds, good linens. Everything very clean and well appointed. The driveway was very icy because of the rain but okay for Jeep 4X4 with winter tires. Too narrow and steep when icy/snowy to get a truck and trailer with sleds up the hill. The huge wood dinner table was the perfect anchor for family meals. Hot tub view was spectacular and the wrap around deck and BBQ area was tranquil. 10/10

There are homes in the vicinity but the cabin feels wonderfully isolated. The view is beyond incredible (pictures seriously don’t do it justice), the kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you need, very comfy living area and loft bed, and the downstairs pool table was a hit!! If I could give 100 stars for communication I would. Every question was answered almost immediately which was so appreciated. Location is approx 15 minutes from the sweet town of Golden which has great restaurants, market days and walking trails. Great place!

Perfect cozy house in the mountains

The perfect spot for our family vacation. A beautiful home close to hiking, white water rafting, kayaking and even relaxation. We had a group of 10 and had plenty of room.

Magical! We loved our stay and the views were amazing. Every morning we drank our coffee on the porch and gazed at the mountains. The house is very well appointed and has everything you will need. It was the perfect home away from home.

Golden Paradise

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kylie's stunning log cabin. Golden is a beautiful authentic town and a great base from which to explore the Rockies, and this cabin was the perfect combination of proximity to town, yet feeling of seclusion, in which to stay. The kids loved the projector for their evening unwind, while the adults soaked in the hot tub overlooking the mountains. Kylie was the perfect host - attentive to our needs and reactive to every ask, while not being overbearing. I would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to come again!

Beautiful scenery, great location!

When first entering the property we were taken back with the beautiful wooden build and incredible views from ALL the windows! The location of the house was perfect for exploring a wide area, May was a great time to visit as it wasn't too busy wherever we went. I would definitely recommend this property to any families or couples wanting to stay and explore the main national parks. We stayed as a family of 5 plus one set of grandparents. There was plenty of room in the house for us all and we enjoyed many hours out on the decking, in the hot tub or cooking over the grill looking out onto the forest! Kylie was great with all communications and no question was a problem. Thank you!

A Wonderful Retreat with Breathtaking Views!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the chalet in beautiful British Columbia! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views that greeted us - the majestic mountains and serene river right outside our window made for an unforgettable backdrop throughout our stay. One of the things that really stood out was how well-stocked the chalet was. Unlike other places we've stayed, we didn't need to pack any extras here. The kitchen had all the essentials and more, making cooking a breeze. The cozy bedrooms were already equipped with comfortable linens and ample storage space. It was evident that the hosts had put a lot of thought into providing everything we might need. The communication with the host was exceptional. They were incredibly responsive and made sure we had all the information we needed prior to our arrival. It's always reassuring to know that the host is just a message away in case of any questions or concerns. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home and unbeatable scenery, look no further. We're already counting down the days until our next visit!

Family Hunt

What a magnificent place to stay! We were there during the fire season but once the smoke cleared what a stunning view! Great location for Banff, Lake Louise etc! Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing mountain getaway

Its hard to put into words how amazing this house is but as nice as the pictures are they don't do it justice. The house and property are both amazing. but what is the nicest part is the owners. Kylie is amazing in communicating with you. The few questions or requests i did have, she always responds within minutes and is very helpful. Incase you are wondering what you need to bring.....clothes, food and alcohol!!! lol Everything else is there. The kitchen is stocked with a ton of dishes and glass ware and any utensils and cookware you can think of to make anything. Sufficient coffee and tea and creamers are waiting for any length of stay. The house was spotless on our arrival and the furniture and beds are all very comfortable and cozy. If you go in the winter i will say the driveway is perfect for crazy carpeting no matter what age you are, and the 11 foot long main table is perfect for regulation beer pong!! lol We stayed for 4 days and our group wouldn't be able to find the smallest downfall to even mention about our trip. Thanks again Kylie for an amazing weekend. We look forward to coming back!!!

Majestic and magic

Our stay at this cabin exceeded all expectation. Starting with the breathtaking location, with a view that was spellbounding and made for a hot-tub back drop never before experienced, to the beds so comfortable all our mornings were sleep in Devine!. We LOVED this cabin. The owners left no detail untested to.... the coffee station had us smiling from young to adult ..the retro games entertained everyone, even the family dog had a special place by the fire! Thank you for an unbelievable vacation! We will be back soon.

High end Chalet, centrally located with unbelievable views

The Host, Kylie, was there for our every question. The property is well appointed with all the comforts of home. Mountain ranges everywhere you look with the Columbia River straight out the deck across the way where we enjoyed birds of all sorts. Quiet, secluded yet a 15 minute drive to Golden which has everything you need, groceries, pharmacy, gas, dining, bars etc. a quaint mountain town that is low key. Using the chalet as base camp we saw local attraction as well as Glacier NP to the west and Banff to the east, Both we’re an easy scenic drive. We are already planning our next visit to this stellar chalet. Thank you Miss Kylie, for helping us put a “check “ on our bucket list😊

THE PLACE to stay when around Golden!

My family (2 adults, 3 kids) stayed here from July 2 - 9 and it is such a fantastic place to stay. The views are as gorgeous, and more, as they seem from the photos! We spent a lot of time on the balcony just gazing at the mountains, wetlands and river. The view alone is well worth the price! The cabin itself has been sublimely crafted. The whole cabin just feels like a work of art. Kylie, the host, has thought of virtually everything to make your stay feel comfy and luxurious. The little touches Kylie provides really go a long way to making your stay unforgettable. A few examples: I am keen to cook on a grill while travelling and was delighted to find a cupboard full of different spices. Every griller knows the importance of spices, and while travelling, no one wants to grocery shop for spices you will only use a couple of times and won't be able to take home. Having plenty of spices on hand really helped me deliver some memorable meals while there! We also realized that the full laundry facilities also provided detergent. Again, a small thing, but we like to do all of our laundry while on the road so that when we arrive home we don't have a mountain of laundry to catch up on. These are just two examples, but Kylie has really thought of everything! While there, we also had my brother and his family come to stay with us (so 9 of us in total) and there was plenty of space for everyone. This is a great place to get away with family, but also a phenomenal place to host a few friends or family members while away. My wife and I stayed in the upper loft, and wow, waking up to mountain views every morning is such a treat. I can't say enough great things about this place. Book in, you won't regret it! In terms of location, the cabin is just a short drive from Golden. Golden itself is certainly no Banff or Lake Louise, so we didn't spend a ton of time in town, but there was so much to do in the area, that our days were packed with hiking and other adventures. I would recommend the following in the area: suspension bridge, wolf centre, Leo's Buffalo farm is amazing and Leo has an infectious and charming personality. I could have listened to him talk about buffalo for hours. We also paraglided which was phenomenal. Kicking Horse mountain is great. Definitely check out Boo the bear. The mountain biking and hiking at the mountain are top notch and there are a ton of other great hikes in the area. This is the place to stay when near Golden!
