“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “Beach front room- would have been a nice view if they’d actually cleaned the windows. Dead cockroach greeted us upon entering the room. Not many toiletries provided, with promise of being able to pick some up from the office. Office however never staffed and toiletries not restocked. All in all, ok if paying around $60 per night (Elite room). ”
