Plenty of nature hikes at Ferne Clyffe State park, and the Garden of the Gods is worth the short drive. The lake was calm and we enjoyed several kayak trips. We look forward to coming back! Loved getting to watch the horses graze, have the company of a sweet cat on the porch, and the occasional visit from one of the friendly dogs.
