"An extremely well presented property in a truly stunning location. Even with a language barrier our host was very welcoming and gave us complete privacy during our stay. The property itself was spotlessly clean. I imagine the temperature we arrived in was unusual ( heatwave of 40 c ) but going forward having a fan in the apartment would be nice. "Expedia said that check-in ended at 8pm, but in fact it is at 5pm except on Friday. Extremely complicated to receive the key of the room, which happened to be in a safe. The code for the safe was emailed by Expedia just a few hours before our arrival, while we were on the train with no access to our email. And on site we did not have a phone connection because of the proximity of the border with Spain. Luckily the weather was great!"

"Photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful views over to the mountains from balcony and garden. Well equipped kitchen and great barbecue. House Very clean and comfortable. We had a lot of fun in pool and also enjoyed local hikes in mountains (GR1 passes through Espunyola). Warm welcome from Jordi when we arrived and he was very helpful providing us with local information. Excellent holiday!"

"La maison est très confortable et l'environnement superbe. Le propriétaire Joan est très disponible, toujours à l'écoute et très serviable. Nous aurions aimé un peu plus de plats dans la cuisine et une documentation en castillan. Par ailleurs, il y a 2 intermédiaires Abritel et Belvilla ce qui rend la communication très difficile. En particulier, j'ai demandé en vain d'être remboursé des frais prélevés par la banque pour paiement en Suisse, l'obligation de paiement en Suisse n'étant mentionnée...

"Just got back from Cardona with my family of 12. This location is both beautiful and unique. Beautiful because it's a very nicely restored Catalan mansion with a great view on all directions. Next to that there is a great pool and a garden which are maintained on a daily basis. Unique because of the setup. "Nice hotel and excellent value. Stayed one night while touring the Pyrenees by motorbikes. The guy on reception was very helpful and spoke good English. Very safe Golf Area and the hotel was happy for us to park opposite reception. Very good breakfast for 12 euro. Also has pool and gym but we didn’t use them. Would stay again"
