AMAZING!!!!!!!

We had the time of our lives hosting our wedding at Cocodimama. The staff was amazing and super helpful throughout our entire stay. It has the most beautiful beach and every person had an amazing time. We can't wait to come back!

Great private resort

A wonderful little resort and beautiful beach to yourself. The water was crystal clear and shallow for 50 meters.

Simply Amazing

This property is fantastic. Everything is very well kept up and kept clean. Everyone working on the property is very polite and hard-working. Everyone in our family had a great time and would stay here again any time.

A FABULOUS RETREAT!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely perfect stay. There was so much attention to detail--cleaning the cob webs, filling our foot washing bins with fresh water each day, sweeping the floors, wiping down really made us feel like we were on vacation to come home to a freshly made bed each evening. Of course the beach is amazing in and of itself, but it was so nice to be there for an entire week with my kids and my mom who struggles to get in and out of the water. I didnt need to worry about currents or sudden drops from a sandbar. If we wanted to have an adventure, we could, but if we just found ourselves on the property, all we had to do was float and we were relaxed and having a good time. It really just helped us all slow down and enjoy one another without our phones. We had everything we needed--our towels, floaties, etc. and really appreciated having someone cook for us one night. I really loved the commercial kitchen because I like to cook and when there are 12 people, that made it really easy to whip up breakfasts and dinners. This trip was a 10/10 and I think in the "life highlight reel" for sure. My parents felt celebrated for their 60th anniversary, which was the whole point, and I had a truly memorable birthday swimming under the stars in the bioluminescent water. We also had a bonfire on the beach one night--I recommend you have one yourself! I hope to come back!! It was idyllic, dreamy perfection.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had the pleasure of hosting my friends and family at Cocodimama for our wedding weekend in January 2024. The location and facilities are absolutely breathtaking and the staff is even more wonderful. My guests and I enjoyed our four night stay immensely thanks to the thoughtful amenities offered. The main dining/lounge/bar area is spacious, comfortable, and the perfect spot for gathering. The decks and beach area are well maintained as are the beautiful rooms. All of the staff including managers, chefs, bartenders, and housekeeping are incredibly helpful and will ensure your stay is a magical one. This location is well equipped for weddings, family vacations, and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Eleuthera.

It IS Better in the Bahamas!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2nd visit to Eleuthra. Cocodimama promised AND delivered. The accommodations were perfect (it felt like waking up on a cloud each morning), including the "big house". As a large group, it was so nice to be able to retreat to your own unit and then hang-out in the big space to eat, play games, talk, watch TV or do karaoke. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had Annie and crew come in and cook breakfasts and dinners for us most nights and that was proved to be a fantastic idea (though I can't credit for it). Our group included kids, vegetarians, pescetarians (sp?), young adults and us older folks -- Annie managed to accommodate everyone! The food was tasty, plentiful and healthy. Cocodimama was so relaxing and beautiful we rarely ventured out, but if this is your first visit to Eleuthra; I'd recommend the Glass Bridge, the Queen's Bath and the Blue Hole (Blue Hole only if you're truly adventurous).

Reviewer Comments: Cant say enough great things about this property, we were a large group of 34 guest and we have the trip of our life, this place has the nest beach in the entire island, the main building has everything to accommodate and to cook for large parties, rooms were spot less, the crew and house keeping directed by annie the manager definitely deserves the highest score for cleanness.also Matt was a super host , he helps us all the way trough this will be our future spot every time we are coming back to ELEUTHERA

Incredible week at Cocodimama

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow, what a week! We brought 24 of our close friends and family to stay at Cocodimama. I think this is truly the most beautiful beach on the whole island. Though we kept venturing out to other beaches and caves and cliffs, we all wanted to get back to the house as quickly as possible. The cottages are not fancy, though right on the sand! We rented a half dozen kayaks and the house also had a lot of rafts and coolers. The most fun was to just wade out into the shallow waters with our drinks and have a party all day long! Annie and her staff were gracious, helpful and always providing little surprises for us! We arranged to have Annie (different than the property manager) cook for us for 4 of the nights, and she made several traditional Bahamian dishes that everyone loved. It got pretty hot during the afternoons, so having good A/C was fabulous. Can't wait to come back!

Wow. Just Wow. Perfect Place to Relax!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the perfect vacation spot. The beach is steps away onto our own private infinity pool . . and is an oasis of relaxation. We had a group of 20+ and spent most of our time floating in warm 3 foot water and talking and laughing. The group was 30 year old cousins that just needed a break! The beaches are perfect for kids to play as moms/dads just float on a serene crystal blue ocean. ( yes, I did fall asleep and enjoyed the best nap of my life. Bring inflatable rafts and maybe a volleyball) Several days we adventured to different parts of the island (lighthouse, sapphire hole, poponi, snorkeling) but always returned to relax on the beach and walk the shell strewn sand. The 1/2 day snorkeling with Exotic Excursions was exceptional. Sandy secluded beaches, snorkeling in the aquariums and sunken ship, rope swings in the middle of the ocean, even swimming pigs! Host Annie made everything comfortable and Cook Annie prepared wonderful meals. Nothing exotic or cruise-shipesque but comfortable and easy. One night we had Mish prepare a VIP celebration dinner and it was FANTASTIC! Would highly recommend that large groups include the meal services. The main house was a perfect gathering spot which included games, gatherings and karaoke (yes, karaoke). Wasn’t excited to sing in front of others but it was a HUGE hit! All in all the perfect getaway and the perfect location! (Governor Airport is 5 minutes away. We rented a suburban through Cadet and it made it easy to get around. The location is central and allowed us to explore the entire island. The North Eleuthera airport is quite a drive away 1 hour. Flew from Dallas to Ft Lauderale and spent the night before flying Silverway airlines in the morning)

Ideal location for a big group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most magnificent stay at Cocodimama! We were a large group of 7 families with kids ranging from 2.5 to 11 and everyone had a blast. It was the end of June and we spent most days soaking and playing games in the water. The accommodations were even better than the pictures (the AC in the rooms crank which was nice at night) and the staff do an impeccable job keeping it clean, thank you to Annie and the entire crew for all that you did to help make our stay comfortable! We hired Annie the chef to cook most meals and she did a great job keeping our hungry crew well fed and happy. There were noseeums around dusk, but if you just hang in the water you don’t get eaten alive. The bites didn’t spoil our fun, just bring some itch cream with you. This is a great property for large groups, can’t wait to come back again hopefully!

Gorgeous Beach- Great for families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beach is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They were so friendly and attentive to us. This property has a great set-up with the individual rooms but large gathering space in the large house. This would be so ideal for a wedding or a family reunion. The ocean is super clear and shallow which is so amazing for children. There are shells which are hard on your feet but only at the very entrance then it turns to soft sand filled with starfish and sand dollars. The location is central on the island but this island is stretched out. It is 30-45 minutes to get to most activities. We would personally like a little more activity and the island is very quiet. There are plenty of restaurants open but no Friday Fish Fry yet. Things are very quiet so if you are seeking rest...this island is awesome! We felt very safe so no concerns there at all.

The perfect large family accommodations

Cocodimama is the most beautiful, perfect setting for a large family gathering. We had a group of 20 family members and we were able to spread ourselves out over the 3 sleeping houses that are perfectly set up to accommodate adults and children alike. The housekeeping staff is AMAZING, taking their time to attend to every detail, and so friendly to chat with and get ideas of where to go and what to see. Annie is so kind, very attentive and easy to get ahold of if any issues arise. The large main guest house was great for eating all our meals in, hanging out, playing games or watching the sunrise and sunset on the porch overlooking the pristine ocean water. The beach at Cocodimama is absolutely gorgeous and so shallow, calm and warm that the kids can play in it all day long! The house is very centrally located on the island which makes it easy to do touristy things on both the north end (Harbor Island, Spanish Wells, Queen’s bath and Glass Window Bridge) or the South end (Lighthouse beach, Ocean hole, or Tarpym Bay fish dock.) We truly had to pinch our selves every day at the beauty that surrounded us. Pictures do not do it justice, so I highly recommend staying here and seeing it for yourself!!

Our own private waterfront oasis

This property is pure perfection. We had a party of 24 ranging from 50+ down to 6 months. Everyone couple/family had their own room (very well maintained, clean with very comfortable beds. The main house was used all day for meals, drinks and lots of games. But the beach is where it's at. Just steps from our rooms was our private beach and knee-deep water that went out at least 100 yards. The staff was low key and wonderful. Everyone was so pleasant and hard working. They greeted us and helped with luggage when we arrived, did our laundry when needed and answered all our questions. Advice: Get a chef. We had Zev provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was one of the best decisions we made. If Covid tests are still required, purchase them for $25 on the Bahamas Health Visa website. If you don't have the voucher it is twice that. We used the Family Medicine Center in Rock Sound, a lovely facility.

Amazing Place!

Cocodimama is perfectly situated on an amazing stretch of beach about 10 mins north of Governors Harbor. Great for a large group as everyone has their own space, but can come back together in main house. Annie, the on-site manager and all the staff are wonderful. Zev cooked amazing dinners and breakfasts for our group and offered lots of great advice for things to do on the Island. Would stay there again 100%

Paradise

Everything was perfect! Great place for a family reunion. Excellent place for a family reunion with all ages. The beach is spectacular and perfect for small children. We hired Annie to cook dinner every evening and she did a great job accommodating many different diets. Just be forewarned that food is VERY expensive and the variety isn’t what you are used to at home. All of the cleaning staff and management was wonderful and friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this resort.

Annual Family Vacation

Perfect for children. We all loved at the big gathering area. Plenty of room for everyone. The staff was amazing! I would recommend that you hire a cook for the evenings. There were 20 of us, and everyone loved having her. This may have been our favorite trip of all time!!
