“The hotel is a beautiful old house ewll kept. The problema is that we got a roonm in the basement no Windows or air. Too small and too dark for my taste. Maybe the romos upsters are nice. It also needs áreas to hang out it only offers the room and a mini reception where the front desk is.”

“This property, which certainly appeared adequate in the listing, exceeded our expectations. Roomy enough for our five adults with a kitchen stocked well enough for basic operation, it was also a quite comfortable walk to the town. We could all be comfortable sitting around the easy-start fireplace or the kitchen table. Great to store ski gear in the first floor mudroom.”

“We stayed for one night on our way back from Rushmore on a road trip. Our plan was to stay next to the hot pools in Lava Hot Springs since we got online tickets to use that facility. The Riverside Inn is a historic property conveniently located with a friendly staff. It wears its age well but it is part of the experience. It doesn’t have elevator or luggage cart however the staff offered help with our bags which was very nice. Dave went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed in the property....

“The owners have gone above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They thought of everything. They left a basket full of fruit and snacks as well as breakfast food in the fridge. Everything was perfect including the very comfortable king bed. The deck is a bonus!”
