This property is wonderful. Location is great, beds are comfortable, hot tub was great, every appliance was in working condition (mostly). Overall, we really liked this place and how clean it was. However, there were a few things missing/off that could have made it a perfect place to stay. These are minor things, keep in mind. Maybe constructive criticism for the owners if nothing else.
- No chalk for the pool table. This would have been nice since we are not pool experts.
- Not as remote as shown. There are a ton of new developments in the area (we heard the construction trucks daily). You are essentially staying in a suburb.
- Toaster was broken.
- Limited amenities. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one load of laundry detergent (which they want you to use for the last load before you leave), zero dish soap, zero tissues, zero bars of soap etc.. This isn't a deal breaker, but feels a little cheap.
- There were beer bottles, broken toys, broken shovels in the back yard. The front yard was overrun with weeds/bugs. They don't seem to look after the outside of the property. Additionally, somebody left a broken lamp in one of the closets and a broken screen in the garage.
- Only 2 fans. We're CO natives and have traveled to tons of mountain homes in the summer. I realize that CO homes don't have AC. That's fine. Usually you can get away with fans. Yet here, not everyone got a fan. With rising temps, you might need to invest in one fan per room to be comfortable.
