The Gathering House es una hermosa casa recientemente renovada de 5 dormitorios / 2 baños con todos los acabados que esperaría en una casa personalizada. Ubicada a 1/2 milla del hermoso centro de Grand Marais, The Gathering House se encuentra a poca distancia de restaurantes y varias playas públicas.

Otra característica que hace que The Gathering House sea única es que hay una pequeña cascada con nombre (llamada Chipmunk Falls) que se encuentra al costado de la propiedad justo al lado de la casa. También hay vistas parciales desde los pisos 2 y 3 del hermoso West Bay y el Lago Superior. La cocina, el comedor, la sala de estar, el dormitorio principal, otro dormitorio y un baño completo se encuentran en el piso principal de la casa.

La cocina es completamente nueva, con nuevos gabinetes de cocina, encimeras de cuarto de galón y electrodomésticos nuevos. El comedor tiene una gran mesa de cosecha y la sala de estar tiene un televisor de pantalla plana de 55 ". El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size. El segundo piso de la casa tiene 2 dormitorios con camas Queen, una habitación con literas con 2 juegos de literas, un baño grande con lavamanos doble y encimeras de mármol, y el lavadero.

El tercer piso tiene una sala de estar con un sofá seccional que se convierte en un sofá cama y tiene excelentes vistas.

Beautiful recently remodeled house. The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 7. The lot is nicely landscaped. The owner was friendly and helpful. We used the house as our home base for visits to Pictured Rocks and Mackinaw Island.

Great place to stay for snowmobiling

The house was great. It had all the amenities needed. The driveway was big enough for a trailer. The only thing that would have made it better would be a second shower. The bathroom on the 1st floor only has a tub.

Grand Marais 2025

The home is clean, warm, and a nice place to vacation. Nothing that I say should deter you from choosing this home, but instead it should prepare you for what to expect when you arrive. We rented the home for a week in Feb for a snowmobile trip for 7 people. While the driveway is large enough for trucks and trailers, it is quite steep and during our visit it was very icy. Since there is no flat area, we were unable to unhook the trucks from the trailers. The trail is a couple miles away and the state plows the berms daily. The house has only 7 coat hooks and one bench, so there is no where to hang your riding gear to dry out. The entry area is large, but needs better use of the wall areas. The bedrooms are small with oversize beds in them. There is no room for dressers, and most bedrooms don't even have closets, so there is no where to unpack. Add in the snowmobile gear and there was no room to even move. When you tell them how many people are visiting, they appear to adjust the quantity of towels and wash cloths. 7 people got 7 towels and 7 wash cloths. We did not enjoy needing to do laundry every night just to have a clean wash cloth. The toilet paper is the cheapest possible which leaves a lot to be desired getting the job done, so bring your own. There are no tissues in the house, so bring your own. The only bathroom on the first floor does not have a fan, so bring some air freshener. The floors creak and pop way more than normal, especially in the 1st floor king bedroom.

Family Snowmobiling Trip

Great location to trails and restaurants. Only downside is there is only 1 gas station in the town. Waiting in line for gas can take up to an hour. House is awesome space for large groups. Great open floor plan. Could use another couch or chairs in living room to accommodate more people. Would definitely stay here again. Very clean and had all the things you need for your stay. Tv in each bedroom and awesome 3rd level hang out area if traveling with teens ..

Great Snowmobile location

Great property near trails and gas. The only downside is one shower so if you have a large group, you have to plan accordingly. We'd stay here again!!

the stay was very nice. there were flies and little gnats in the upstairs bathroom though. And the roku remote in the main tv room is no where to be found. I have checked all the tvs to see if it was in a different room and it isn't.

Great Family Get Away

We did a mini extended family Jeep trip and had a great time. Everyone loved the house. It’s a very open floor plan with five bedrooms that provides some privacy. Large kitchen table which we all could sit at for a meal together. There is a nice back deck with furniture which was great to stargaze from. Loved this rental!!

Perfect for our big family

We loved the proximity to Grand Marais and Sable Falls. The waterfall on the property was a big bonus. I really appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped for cooking, I’ve found many rental kitchens lacking basic tools and pots/pans, but I was able to make meals easily in this one.

Beautiful home in a great location!! Loved the yard and the fact that there was a waterfall right through the woods just off the property. The home was spacious, clean and a great stay for our group of ladies! Definitely would book there again!

This is the second time we have rented here, and once again completely pleased with everything. Modern, large enough for our large group, well outfitted, well maintained. Definitely renting again! Only complaint is not enough snow - but that was up to Mother Nature!

Great Stay

So many of the properties in the upper peninsula leave so much to be desired, this home had everything. Such a relief to find a home with modern (minimal) decor, clean and new fixtures/appliances, beautiful layout and access to the outdoors. My family has been camping in the upper peninsula for decades and this time we decided to treat ourselves to an indoor stay. We had a fantastic time and so enjoyed the home.
