Great visit with family for our annual trip to the north shore. The house was very nice with a great deck. Close to lots of great trails!

Weekend away

This cabin had everything you needed for a great time away on the North Shore. Close to the general store and a quick drive to grand Marais, but more so it was super close to some beautiful nature and walking. We would happily stay again at this beautiful cabin.

Perfect Place for a Skication

We stayed here in February and went to Lutsen for a few days. It was a great location for a Lutsen skication. The sauna was excellent. The kitchen is a bit small but has almost all of the amenities. Would stay here again!

Great house, great location

Perfect for our yearly ski trip to Lutsen! Easily slept our group of 9. Plenty of room and 3 bathrooms. Pretty view of Lake Superior.

Just what we needed!

This property is a true gem! Remotely located in the beautiful north shore, easy to get to all the things. Clean, appropriately stocked with basic needs and condiments. We enjoyed the sauna, fire pit, and beautiful views of Lake Superior.

Great weekend

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and we'll maintained. However, there is no air conditioning, so it gets a little warm during the summer months. But overall, it was a nice place to stay.

North Shore stay

If you are visiting Minnesota’s North Shore this is a great place to stay. Comfy yet spacious enough to spread out. We didn’t try the sauna as we had a busy schedule but the fire pit was a great place to gather in the evening. Nice space for cooking or grilling. Or just enjoying the fireplace, tv, or internet. Great place to relax.

Great Spot

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Lots of space to gather with family and with all the bedrooms, decks, ect., able to find your own space and chill. We loved it. Our hosts were awesome and in contact all the time and quick to respond to questions when I had them. Definitely will go back!! Highly recommend!!

Comfy get away home

This house was great! Plenty of room for number of guests, close to Lutsen Mountain but also is extremely private. We ended up getting the sauna going early, did a polar plunge in Lake Superior and then came back to the house for some sweet time. The sauna is a great feature! Thanks for the great week!

Ski Vacation Getaway

We loved our stay overall in this sweet Tofte Cabin! Each family member enjoyed their own private room, which allowed for great sleep, and happy kids! The family room and fireplace were warm and cozy! There were plenty of blankets for the cool winter nights! We had some electrical issues, and the property owners were very responsive!

Awesome spot near Lutsen

We stayed at Alex & Kate's A-Frame in Tofte while competing at spring races at Lutsen. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating with our needs, and the house is fantastic. Easily fit the 7 of us, with a great space for hanging out after the day of skiing. And the Sauna was incredible! Easy to use, and really made for a great way to end the day. Well appointed kitchen, amazing deck with views of Lake Superior, quiet setting - just perfect. Will keep this place on our go-to when back in Lutsen!

Great central location on the North Shore

A great fit for our extended family weekend of hiking and family fun. Perfect amount of space for our group of six adults and three teens. Each family had their own bathroom…a definite plus. The teens enjoyed the bunk bed room with the additional foldout bed. The new fire ring and supplied firewood was a nice touch after long days of exploring. Thanks!

Superior 100

We were 3 runners and crew for a 100 mile race. The property is convenient to the SHT where the race is held. The 6 crew were able to use the house as a headquarters during the overnight part of the race. It was perfect for our post-race celebration. I only wish we’d booked one more day — it would have been perfect for recovering.

40th Anniversary Get Together

We really liked the home we stayed in. There was plenty of room for everyone to stay and spread out. We really liked the location. It was close to skiing, cross-country skiing, showshoeing and hiking. We had a great time. Our only problem was the dish washer was not working and we had to do all the dishes by hand and with 10 people that was a lot of dishes to wash. The Ice machine in the refrigerator was also not working. Other that those two things, everything was great and we had a great time with our family. Thanks
