on the morning of the rental I sent a message to Michelle to confirm we would be there that afternoon. She told me that they were painting the apartment we rented but would give me the apartment in the lower level. (That is not listed on VRBO) because it was the morning of departure I said ok and she assured me it was as nice as the one I rented. Upon arrival it was difficult to locate because there were wreaths over the address. Once we entered we were extremely disappointed because the internet was down because of non payment according to the message we got when trying to sign in. I sent a message and the next morning she answered and got the internet reinstated. The apartment was nothing like what I had booked. It needed a really good cleaning, there were people in the upstairs apartment all night walking around, a dog that barked they was no painting going on someone was living or renting the apartment above that we had reserved. The walls were dirty and there was toothpaste on the hand towel. Michelle was very nice but we were very dissapointed in our stay, it felt like a bait and switch or kind of scamish the way we were shuffled around and told that the apartment above was being painted.
