  • Beautiful, serene, private! Located directly on PEI's famous north shore this unique property is the perfect get-away and holiday spot! With stunning views of the bay and the sand islands through the floor to ceiling windows you'll be awed by the stunning sunsets and sunrises! Also, it's only 5 minutes from seaside restaurants, gorgeous beaches, National Parks, hiking and biking trails, yet only 20 minutes from the historical capitol of Charlottetown! It's a unique and romantic escape in the heart of beautiful unspoilt nature!
    Other amenities offered include: record player and vinyl, loads of candles, shampoo and conditioner, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 2 bicycles, binoculars (there is amazing bird watching on the property and bay), fire pit and firewood, yoga matts, barbeque, hottub, beach access, kureg machine and pods, and more!

This place was a gem. The view of the bay was awesome. The cottage was so creatively decorated and had all ammentities needed plus some. So relaxing to come back to after a day of activities/ exploring.

The Fish Monger’s Dream was a dream! It has everything you’d need and is charming in its character and decor. We loved everything about our stay, especially the hot tub overlooking the bay, and would recommend it to anyone!

The cottage was beautiful and private! Jeff was a wonderful host who greeted us with a warm welcome. We enjoyed the hot tub and incredible view!! We can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic Stay!

What a perfect place! The location is great to explore the island as you can get to both east and west ends in day trips. The house has everything you need, including kayaks, paddle boards, kitchen, hot tub, washer/dryer, etc. Absolutely perfect stay on a beautiful piece of property!

We had the most relaxing stay! Everything was just as we had thought it would be. Jeff was easy to communicate with and the check in process was flawless. We hope to come back to this little cottage in the future. It was perfect!

Seclusion on the North Coast

If you're looking for a sweet small place for the two of you, I recommend you stay here. The views, hot tub and coziness sets it apart from the rest. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed here for a week of our honeymoon and it was fantastic!! We walked the beach every day, we were close to nice restaurants but also cooked for ourselves in the kitchen. The views were incredible and we felt very comfortable in the space. Thank you Jeff, hopefully we'll be back soon!

Such a character filled, unique little piece of paradise. The views of the bay were absolutely amazing and watching the bald eagles fishing from the couch was a real treat! The location is ideal being only 8 mins from the gorgeous big beaches and even closer to Fin Folk restaurant and another impressive beach. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in P.E.I.! Thanks for a wonderful stay Jeff!

Fishmongers Dream was a great escape. Location is close to beaches, quick drive to Charlottetown and has a 5-star view. Jeff was always quick to reply and made us feel welcome.

A Slice of Paradise!

We had an incredible stay! The pictures honestly don’t do this place justice—while they are beautiful, the experience far surpassed all our expectations. It was incredibly peaceful, serene, and private, with a lovely little beach that felt like our own secluded paradise.The attention to detail was outstanding, and the decor was both gorgeous and welcoming. So much care has gone into creating a truly relaxing and inviting retreat. I recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind in a stunning setting.

We had a wonderful time at this charming, unique and welcoming cottage! Our host, Jeff, was wonderful and the thought and care and creativity brought into creating this oasis is evident from the moment you pull up. It had all the amenities we could have needed and the peaceful, tranquil views are breathtaking! We feel lucky to have found this gem!!

We were three friends travelling together, and while the cottage may not be the most practical setup for three separate people, the location and charm made it absolutely worth it! The cottage itself is full of character and had everything we needed. The beach was great - we spent hours relaxing, watching eagles and other sea birds, and dipping in and out of the water. Evenings were especially magical soaking in the hot tub under the stars. This is truly a special spot and we left feeling relaxed, grateful, and wishing we could come back!

Unique and Beautiful Property

My wife and I were celebrating our 40th birthdays with a trip to PEI and couldn't have been happier with our stay here. The location is absolutely gorgeous: We took advantage of kayaking in the bay, walks on the red sand of the private beach, and late summer sunset views over the bay/ocean from the hot tub and back porch. You can also get to many of the major tourist destinations on the island (Green Gables, Charlottetown) in a little over 30 mins by car. We hope to return someday!

Peacefull, quiet and dreamy retreat by the sea.

The Fishmonger's Dream truly lived up to its name. We had a wonderful time at Jeff's quaint and charming cottage. The home is beautifully appointed and full quirky and fun coastal details that made it both cozy and unique. Perfect for relaxing and observing Ospreys and fishing boats go by. We especially loved visiting the dog-friendly beach at Finn's near by - a real treat for both us and our dog. All in all, our stay exceeded our expectations and hope to return next year.

AMAZING STAY!

Had the best time - we were decompressing after our wedding. So much fun for us to use all the outdoor equipment provided, bikes, kayaks, paddle boards etc. The host Jeff was extremely accommodating, and we will definitely be back again!

AMAZING VIEW AND LOCATION! You can soak in the beauty of the sand dunes on the other side of Tracadie Bay! It is such a beautiful view! 2 Kayaks and 2 paddle boards on site right by the water for guests to use. Bay is very shallow and I felt very safe while kayaking. Fishing boats going out at sunrise and going by throughout the day. Cute little hot tub which I used two to three times a day each and every day! Campfire pit with wood and kindling at the cottage. Bald Eagles, Osprey and Blue Herons can be sighted multiple times a day if you keep an eye out for them. Amazing sunsets can be viewed from the sitting area by the water and spectacular sunrise viewed right from the porch. Very quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for rest, relaxation, just kicking back and recharging your batteries, this is a perfect place to soak in all the good stuff! To complete my unwinding experience I booked a wonderful massage and facial at Serenity Salon, which is literally right next door, I simply walked on over... How convenient is that! The cottage is so cozy and very tastefully decorated with authentic maritime themed antique objects and lots of care and love. I found the bed to be very comfortable. Ground coffee, tea, Nespresso machine and capsules are supplied. From the cottage it is an 18 minute drive to the airport and 22 minute drive to large grocery stores and shopping mall in Charlottetown. A 6 minute drive to the closest beach which is one of my favorites on PEI. Thank you Jeff.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Fishmonger's Dream. It was so quiet and relaxing. I loved watching the birds and we made good use of the hot tub when it cooled down at night. Sunsets were amazing, and the stars were spectacular. (I also quite enjoyed the view out the skylight.) Jeff was a great host. Very attentive. What struck me as we walked in, was the smell. It didn't smell like fish at all! But very sweet, warm and welcoming. My only regret is that we didn't understand how the tide worked. (City folks, you know.) When we tried to take the kayaks out - it was far too shallow to get anywhere. But the view made up for it. Love that salty air!! It was a great stay.

Sadly, I didn't actually stay here though it looks like a great house. I was unable to make the trip, and cancelled the stay before the cancellation deadline and received a full refund. After the original dates of the booking, however, I received a notification that the host has left me a review, but I'm unable to see it unless I leave a review of my own, so I'm leaving a review to gain access to that review. I'm sure the house is great, and the host is great, but because I did not stay there, I did not personally experience either, and cannot offer any actual review for them.
