This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.
We arrived with a confirmed booking (and a second stay already reserved for our return trip), only to be told at check-in that they no longer accept KOHO credit cards. This policy was never communicated ahead of time. We were nearly denied our room entirely despite having prepaid plans, which was incredibly stressful after a long day of travel. Because of this, we were forced to cancel our return booking.
Although they eventually gave us a room, the experience only got worse from there. The room was filled with an overpowering artificial fruity air freshener smell that felt like it was trying to cover something up. It was unpleasant and impossible to ignore. On top of that, the air conditioning unit was loud, inconsistent, and ran all night, making it very difficult to sleep.
The lack of communication, last-minute policy changes, and poor room quality made this stay frustrating and unacceptable. We did not feel respected or accommodated as paying guests. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
