Beautiful Property....with room for improvement. Beautiful property with room for improvement
Our family spent a full week at this property and overall had a great experience. The check-in process was smooth, and we appreciated the helpful email beforehand with directions and info about cell coverage. The location is stunning — the yard is well maintained, river access was excellent, and we really enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable, and all the linens and furniture were clean and cozy. The steam shower was a luxurious touch once we figured it out — a small instruction card would be a helpful addition.That said, there were some cleanliness and supply issues worth noting. The tile floors and kitchen needed a deeper clean, and the kitchenware — especially pans — was outdated and limited. The sliding glass door was very dirty, likely from dogs, and there were almost no basic cleaning supplies (no vacuum, broken broom, no mop or Swiffer pads), making upkeep tough. Only one trash bag was provided for the entire week.The biggest downside was the hot tub — the water was green and unusable. While the property manager responded quickly to our message, the issue wasn’t resolved during our stay.Despite these concerns, we still had a lovely time. The property has so much potential and, with more attention to cleaning and kitchen updates, it could truly be a five-star rental. We’d love to return once these details are addressed.
