“Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

“Check in was easy and better than a hotel lol I loved the privacy of the place and I loved the coffee and coffee maker provided ! My favorite part was that I had two options of where I could sleep. I’m small enough for the couch and the bed is perfect and comfy. Best vacation I’ve had in a very long time . Definitely coming back next time I come to Tacoma for a tattoo ”

“This stay was beyond our expectations. The location is in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is also close to all the activities of the Olympic National Park. The house is newly remodeled and is in impeccable condition. There was everything we needed for a wonderful short stay including lawn chairs and kayaks. We would love to come back again next year. Highly recommended. ”

“View was amazing, very quiet and relaxing. Outside landscape needs serious attention. Kitchen was fine, however too much crammed into cabinets and drawers. Need only the basics. Rock at the end of drive is in need of compacting…we had a difficult time leaving the property. All in all we enjoyed our stay”

“The house is beautiful - completely remodeled and updated in every way. There was plenty of space for our family of five with room to spare. We weren't around much during the days, but the kids actually wished that we had planned to spend more time at the house! Would love to stay here again if we are back in Tacoma.”

“This was a perfect spot for us —excellent location, an amazing view, and clean as a whistle, Nice quiet neighborhood. Rather sparsely appointed but comfortable. However, the listing as “entire home” is misleading, be prepared for a daylight basement accessed via very steep stairs sans handrail. Knowing what to expect, we’d like to return.”

“The place was beautiful and very peaceful. Phil and Danica were so nice, and all the extras in the kitchen were outstanding! I was also a fan of the water. It was so pure and tasted great. The trails behind the house to the sound were so beautiful, and the outdoor living space was so comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!”

“The northeast exposure was the best view. Windows gave a great view. Large kitchen, comfortable beds. When we discovered the (grill) propane tanks were empty, someone was there within 15 minutes with new ones.”
