Cozy and comfortable wooded cabin

  • This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

We love the Cozy Cabin! It is pretty perfect for my kids, grandson and I, and is close enough to Soda Springs to keep us coming back in the winter.Scott is a wonderful host and hope to meet Dena on our next visit.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. This was our second stay here, and definitely not our last. The cabin was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. Being close to the freeway was also a big plus, providing peace of mind and an easy escape in case of bad weather. The hosts were fantastic and very welcoming and caring. Highly recommended!

Lovely Relaxing Weekend

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for. The property was as expected: clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and the location is perfect. We all really enjoyed our visit and would gladly return for another trip.

Amazing stay!!

This cabin was perfect! Lovely, comfortable, had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It's close enough to I-80 to be convenient but tucked far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the forest. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly, and communicative. This was exactly what we needed! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

I really enjoyed my cozy stay. I enjoyed some wonderful peace and quiet which is exactly what I needed. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I had everything I needed. The cabin was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the trees are amazing. Also, their labradoodle and kitty are awesome.

Beautiful cabin : 10 out of 10! It was stocked with everything one could need, and it has a great porch to appreciate the lush location. The hosts were very responsive & helpful with great local tips. We would stay here again & again if we ever get the chance!

Wonderful Getaway Location

Beautiful and peaceful location. Cabin very well designed and constructed with great view of the forest. Cabin well stocked and lots of special touches to make it feel like home. A wonderful anniversary getaway for us.

This is a great place. My family enjoyed staying 3 nights here. This cabin has everything like someone is living. Easy access to the ski resort and snow parks. Definitely going back when we go the area again!

Cozy cabin

This cabin was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean, very well stocked in the kitchen, and had all the streaming services on the TV the kids could ask for! The view in the morning looking out into the forest was stunning. The cats that greeted us upon arrival made us feel like we were at home. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Cozy Perfect Ski Weekend

Wonderful spot - worked perfectly for a family ski trip, a quick 30 minute drive up to Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our hosts were kind and accommodating and we loved staying in the quiet forest at the end of the road. We'll be back!

The cozy cabin was amazing. Quiet and relaxing. Our kids loved exploring the area around the cabin and playing the snow. The dog was so friendly and fun playing fetch with.
