“The bar staff at check-in were friendly. The rooms are upstairs in old characterful Essex pub in a pretty village. There are only four parking spaces which were taken so we parked behind the local co-op a short walk away. The room itself was small but clean and well equipped. The room was pretty, the bed super comfortable, the temperature lovely and cosy, the bathroom toiletries and bed linens all super high quality. Wi-Fi was strong and meant I could work.
