Best view!

Nice roomy home, amazing views can be enjoyed both inside on the comfy couches or outside on the Adirondack chairs. Great location on the island. Beds are very comfy.

Ideal location

Location was ideal to our need to be close to Greenbank and Coupeville. Having Greenbank Farms/Whidbey Pie Co. so close was a sweet benefit in many ways. The view is breathtaking and we walked down to the beach daily to watch fishermen/fisherwomen catching coho salmon. A very comfortable place to stay.

Peace and Tranquility

Home away from home! This house was the perfect, quiet place to relax and recharge. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The layout was so comfy, the kitchen very well-stocked, and the breathtaking views and sunsets were incredibly beautiful! Seamless check-in, great location and deer, bunnies, eagles all around! We hope to be back to enjoy this outstanding home in the future.

Wonderful Time

The view was everything we hoped for, AWESOME!!! The house was plenty big enough for the five of us. The deer were very entertaining to watch in the yard, especially the fawns. We would absolutely go back. Whidbey Island is a wonderful get-away.

Views, Nature & Peace

Beautiful setting. Quiet - except for birds chirping. Lots of M Ma and baby deer. House is comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Enjoyed just sitting on the deck taking in the views and relaxing.

Over all we were pleased with our stay. We got off to a rocky start, as when we arrived and started to stock the kitchen, we found that the refrigerator smelled strongly of old fish. We spent over an hour taking it apart, finding the source of the odor and cleaning and sanitizing it. Should have been caught by the cleaning crew. Otherwise it was fine and the view of the Puget Sound is gorgeous.

Host lied about location. They told me location to family we were visiting was 46 min and a direct car ride to and from. I had expressed concern with having to use a ferry during the holiday week. They assured me no ferry was needed, and a direct car ride of 46 min from their location to our family's house. Only after it was past the cancelation time period did they tell me we'd need a ferry and it would be a 2 hour ferry or 4 hour car ride.... just 1 way. Still fighting for a refund. Use EXTREME caution with this host

Great family stay

What a great spot, and very family friendly. Our 11yr old twins shared the bunk room with friends, played board games, pop-a-shot, and foosball. It was perfect for them. Sunset view was killer and fire pit awesome for entertaining and roasting marshmallows. Home had everything you need and nothing you don’t.

So convenient, such great views

Great views of the Sound and snow-topped Olympics, with the joy of four straight days of sunshine in November; all were perfect! Well-equipped kitchen with abundant tableware, cookware and serving ware made cooking Thanksgiving dinner so convenient. We explored Ft Casey twice this visit: so easy to get to and such an interesting spot with gentle beach access for g'ma and the battery and lighthouse for those wanting to climb and explore.

Great views!

Family friendly. Lots of room to spread out. Wonderful deck and views. Friendly deer! Large stocked kitchen with lots of countertops. (Just a FYI sink in master bedroom draining slowly. )

Cozy House with Dazzling Views

My spouse, son & I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed to fix simple meals and enjoy cozy evenings. I suggest that before coming to Whidbey Island that you review ferry schedules! You may be able to reserve passage, but must do so well in advance in summer, etc. Overall, a delightful experience for us all!

Clean but not stocked well with its supplies. Did not find the Teflon pan, scrubbed 4 or 5 times on others. Door very difficult to open and then lock later. But view was lovely. Need handle in shower as very slippery for old folks.

The view from this home is absolutely stunning — definitely the highlight of our stay. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, and we appreciated the board games provided for family time.That said, there were a few things worth noting. Some boards on the deck are starting to rot and could use repair for safety. One of the bedrooms is only accessible by walking through another bedroom and closet, which made it a bit awkward for privacy. The house has two mini splits on each end, but it got chilly at night unless we left all the bedroom doors open or used the provided space heaters.We were asked to run the dishwasher and a load of towels before checkout, but no dishwasher pods or laundry detergent were provided, so we ended up hand washing dishes with the dish soap on hand. The bathrooms are quite outdated, and the only TV in the house is in the kids’ room — not a big issue for us, but having one in a more central area would’ve been nice.Overall, we enjoyed the view and location, but a few updates and small conveniences would make the stay much more comfortable.

Great with a minor aspect

We haven't found any way to directly contact the owner so we didn't want to necessarily point this out on the review. But since we don't find a way to do that: a minor and seemingly inexpensive thing to do for cleanliness would be to replace the caulking around the master shower door and use some off-the-shelf dishwasher self-cleaning product. And the screen door closer device is only hanging on by one screw. Thanks!breplacebe to replace the the gro

THEE PERFECT HOME!!

I don’t even know where to begin. First of all we were there to visit my ailing mother, who lives two doors down. We were so grateful for this location as we could literally walk to my moms to visit with her often. The home itself is incredible. The amazing views, the large deck with lots of seating, the enormous, well kept, professionally landscaped yard, to the way the home is decorated inside, it just makes you feel like you live there. We had an extraordinary time living amongst the memories of our childhood. The double set of double bunkbeds in the game room/family room was an amazing addition! The basketball hoop and foosball game made our evenings fun. Everything about this house will make you want to rebook your next vacation before you leave. If you ever have an opportunity while you are in Whidbey Island to rent a home as opposed to a hotel room, I honestly would tell you, without question or hesitation, that you should rent this lovely home! For our family, this is the only home that we will stay at going forward when we travel to Woody Island. Thank you ***** & ***** for the hospitality! I can’t wait to be in your home again.

Tha property was well equipped, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The view is spectacular. The carpet is severely stained and looked very dirty. The balcony has a spectacular view, however the glass rail is soiled, mildewed and full of cob webs. The bathtubs are very high off the floor and extremely narrow. Not recommended for seniors.

A lovely surprise

This home has a wonderful view and immaculate interior. Wasn't sure what to expect from the exterior but the interior far exceeded expectations. I'll rent this place again.
