First off I will never stay at that nasty hotel agian. The back door doesn't lock properly anyone could easily get in. The rooms are over priced for the condition they are in, and they charge out the ass for pet fees. If I owned that motel I would only charge 40 to 50 a night. That motel isn't worth no where near 70 to 80 a night. They need to do some serious remodeling before they try charging that much.

This place is awful I booked a week earlier and stayed but there were crack heads knocking on the door saying they loved there in the room I was staying in and to let them in. Blood stained sheets burns on every thing, crack pipe burns on every dresser. I was too broke to afford anything else so I booked again and when I went to check in they told me I was on the do not rent list because I stole a space heater from the room? Why would there have even been a space heater in the room? There are air-conditioning/heat units. They said I owed an additional $100 for a space heater that I have no clue about

An isult to roach motels
Horrible. Woman at the desk was toothless and yelled everything at me. I killed half a dozen roaches within 5 minutes of entering. More ran out of the shower curtain. When i lifted the comforter there were cockroach shells underneath. The water pressure was terrible and the water never got hot. There was one weird metal sink sticking out of the wall next to the bathroom.

Felt extremely unsafe. Dogs barking all hours of the night people banging on doors at 2 am every night. Everything in the room was extremely run down locks didn’t work.

The room we had was in terrible condition, cigaret left on the table, extremely dirty sticky floor, tables, fridge, bugs. Literally by a huge margin the worst room we ever had, we usually pick cheapest motels but this one was different league.

Mixed thoughts, but slept well
Front desk, a gem. They welcomed me as if I had been there before. Mixed motel, residential, and rentals. House keeping, was another story. It felt like it could have been intimidating and rude. As if that was the Taj Mahal Hotel. I am a senior citizen with bad knees. I was more in a hurry to get out of there than hk wanted to kick us out. They must deal with a lot of scrubs to sadly be treated like one. They have no clue to act otherwise, I guess. Manners and respect are free

Keep away
To start they didn’t have the room I booked. It was one of the dirtiest hotels I had ever seen. Slept fully dress cause I was to afraid to let my skin touch the sheets. The town where not white but a brownish color from being so old. I would tell anyone to pass on this place asap. It reminded me of a sketchy hotel from a movie.

I would never stay in this place again. Staff gave no problems, I suppose that’s the only positive I have about this place. First of all, don’t let the price reel you in like I did…. You WILL absolutely get what you pay for. I wish I had read reviews prior to booking. Had I not already reserved the room and would have been charged regardless, I would have just driven home and sucked up having to lose the $50. Secondly, the location is horrible, the area is not safe. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, especially not for those with young children. I was stared at uncomfortably by men driving in the parking lot. The entire place smelled like smoke even though it was “no smoking”. Our neighbors in the next room were screaming at one another, so loud at some points I thought they may be in the same room as us. I won’t even begin to dive into what inappropriate things were being said. The hallway was rambunctious all night, random people in and out and then around midnight KNOCKING on our door, terrifying my children and quite frankly, myself as well. We were scared enough that we pushed a desk against the door. Had I not been so concerned about walking out of this place at night time, we would have left and driven home that night. There were stains on the walls, cigarettes burns on blankets, bugs all throughout the room, AND one bed was being held up by books. Yes…. Books. Save your money, book elsewhere!

Overbooked in 2022?
We arrived at 5 pm to check in and was told they had overbooked and were just trying to contact me. My reservation had been made a week earlier. I had noticed on the reviews that this had happened before. This place seems very unreliable and sketchy and Hotels.com should do a much better job of vetting their hotels. I was fortunate to find another place at twice the cost, but others might not have been as lucky and it was very cold last night in Greensboro, so shame on Hotels.com for working with such an unreliable place. Definitely brought your reputation with me down a couple of notches.

I wasn't able to get my room. I got all the way to the hotel (hours after I booked my room/made my reservation) just to be told that it has double booked. I had no room. PLUS they had rented out the last room to the guest RIGHT before me. I ended up having to find another hotel. Waste of gas and time!

I gave this review an honest “ok” just cause first let’s begin with the great part, which was that the staff answer response was great and no doubt about it and price is awesome. the bad dislikes would be that of course there is no great amenities, I saw a swimming pool that was empty and I know it was supposed to because it was cold weather. But the pool is small for a hotel of that size. The inside rooms of the hotel seems as if it’s old type with wooden floors and brick type on the walls. The smell seems very odd, so smell wise was very rare as if one day I would walk out of the bathroom and then all of a sudden a smell from a dog urine coming through, or smell of cigarettes. Well anyhow, I l thought it was odd that the bathroom though it has its sinks, there is also another sink outside the bathroom right next to it, so I was guessing it is there due to the bathroom easily getting mirrors blurry if you take a shower. Usually a great hotel has like a list of food places to order from on top of a small table as well as a list of tv channels I can enter into the remote so that way I’m not having to find it myself and be able to get through all the channels. Not a complain but just simply stating the differences of a great hotel out there and it’s differences. So of course there is no tv list of channels or neither a list of places to order from. The tv seemed great but even with their WiFi, for some reason it was way too weak. The hotel needs to plan for growth.

Our stay at the Stay Express
The rooms were nice but not very clean I actually cleaned our room once we unpacked. The office employee that checked me in was nice, but the other gentelman that was there over the weekend was rude and hateful. We have a little dog and when we checked in we wasnt informed that you have to pay 15 dollars a day for your pet. Yes 15 extra dollars a day! I can see paying a one time deposit but 15 dollars a day non-refundable is outragous. Where we wasnt informed when we checked in he made us pay for the 2 nights that we had already stayed. Dont get me wrong we love our little guy and didnt mind paying it, but I just think that it was crazy and handled in a poor manner and to have to pay that every day come on. Also the way that he handled it was very rude and hateful it was completely un-called for. I mean we had already paid 100 deposit when we checked in so he really didnt have to treat us the way that he did. So if i was asked if I recommend this hotel I would have to say no I would not recommend it all. My reasons are because the staff and the cleaniness of the hotel. As far as the location and the rooms there they were great.

The area was horrible, the clerk has a terrible attitude, the room was barely cleaned, no soap shampoo or conditioner was provided the bed was uncomfortable, the TV didn't work, and the heater doesn't work.
