“We so enjoyed our stay at this place. The interior was nicely furnished and clean! The view of the lake outside was beautiful and calming. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the firepit and lake. At the end of the day, part of our group sat at the end of the dock and enjoyed watching the boats and other watercraft as they passed by on the lake. Unfortunately rain prevented us from enjoying the firepit, but that just means we will have to return to enjoy this great get away...

“The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall.”

“We were three couples spending the weekend in town for a family wedding. There was more room here than we needed, with plenty of seating both for dining and leisure indoors and out, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of kitchen and bathroom towels, etc. The back yard is idyllic with fly fishers and kayakers in the river everyday. A true home away from home. Excellent host response.”

“This was a very well thought out rental. Everything we needed to feel at home was available to us. The home was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We stayed the weekend for a wedding and the location was only a 6 minute car ride from Downtown. Our host was great at communicating and provided us with all the information we needed for a great stay. We would highly recommend Dayton Station for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Grand Rapids!!”

“We stayed here for my nieces wedding and it was such a great house. We had 6 adults and our little puppy. It was great for all of us to have our own room, it was pet friendly which was great for our nosy puppy. We all had plenty of room to spread out, but a great kitchen when we wanted to Be together. “The home was equipped with absolutely everything you could possible think of. Sue, our host went above and beyond to ensure me and my group of 11 friends had everything we needed. We had 5 couples in the group and everyone was very comfortable. We didn’t even use all the spaces in the home because it’s so spacious. The kitchen is amazing. Having 3 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 3 ovens made meal times a breeze. There were a couple of mishaps but Sue was very responsive. We had a day of golf at Arrowhead...

Had issues with the VRBO app, which wouldnt allow me to respond to messages, so hopefully the owners see this so they know how much we enjoyed our stay! Will be back in the future when rhe weather is warmer to utilize the lake!”

“Our family loved this cottage and we loved the hostess Nina! When I first walked into the house it smelled amazing and the view was beautiful. It was such a great first impression. The beds are comfortable and all the natural light in the cottage makes it a happy space. We reached out to Nina several times and she was always available and accomadating. I highly recommend staying at this cottage!”
