Exactly as billed. Location was what we wanted, close to Lake Fork Marina. Concrete floors could definitely use a good cleaning. Besides that, all was good.

Fish week

This place was great for our Oklahoma group of guys there to fish a few days. The boat ramp was so convenient there for our 5 boats. Plenty of parking, neighbors were nice, and we hope to return next year!

Great stay to get away!

Cozy and comfortable home

We’ve found that finding a clean, well-kept vacation home rental in this area almost impossible to find. This home is amazing. First and foremost it is really clean. Secondly, It has everything you need for a pleasant stay: comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, and fun decor. We stayed for several weeks and had no issues. The owner responded right away to any questions we had. We hope to return again soon!

Weekend Stay

The Good-We enjoyed the unique decor & lighting, the quiet neighborhood & ping-pong table. The Bad- There is currently NO lake access! The listing does not reflect the current state. We rented a boat & were very disappointed to not have this. The listing should be updated as I informed the property manager. The Ugly- We paid a cleaning fee & there were previously used dishes on the counter when we arrived & hardly any dish soap or paper towels. We cooked all weekend & this was a huge inconvenience. For the price of this property, I would expect these to be addressed before staying here. I did reach out to the property manager regarding these issues.

Really Neat Property

The positives far outweighed the negatives and quite frankly the negatives were beyond the owners control. We expected lake access and since the lake is so far down that was not an option. The owner obviously put an enormous amount of attention to detail into this property and was comfortable and very well appointed. I would recommend this destination to anyone.

We’ve stayed at other vrbo homes in the area and this one by far was the best. It was very clean, well maintained, and organized. The beds are comfortable. The decor is fun. We hope to stay here again.

What a Getaway

This property was exactly what we were looking for!! My family was able to cook amazing food, enjoy the outdoors, relax, laugh, and have so much fun....TOGETHER!! Every detail was thought through. My personal favorite part of our experience was the aesthetics!! The decorations and repurposed architecture made my eyes super happy!!! 2nd favorite was the bathtub!! Thanks for some wonderful memories!

Beautiful and peaceful.

Over all, our stay was wonderful. The cabin and surrounding land is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of room for lots of people. A short walk from the back porch will take you to a lovely spot near the water and boat dock . Stars at night were bright and beautiful. Nature noises were all we heard, no neighbors or cars. A large Hawk has a nest in a tree near the back porch and it is fun to watch it hunt in the morning.The beds and towels were all clean and ready when we got there, and the kitchen had every pot and pan we needed to cook our meals. A few small things remined me that guests had been there before us. There were dishes left in the drainer and sheets left in the washer, but those were easy enough to put up. Bring your fly swatter, because East Texas has alot of flies and they found there way inside. The cabin's AC unit did have a hard time keeping up with the Texas heat, and we had to keep the cabin at about 78°, which was fine for us, but may be too hot for some. We all had a great time and I would stay there again.
