Over all, our stay was wonderful. The cabin and surrounding land is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of room for lots of people. A short walk from the back porch will take you to a lovely spot near the water and boat dock . Stars at night were bright and beautiful. Nature noises were all we heard, no neighbors or cars. A large Hawk has a nest in a tree near the back porch and it is fun to watch it hunt in the morning. The beds and towels were all clean and ready when we got there, and the kitchen had every pot and pan we needed to cook our meals.
A few small things remined me that guests had been there before us. There were dishes left in the drainer and sheets left in the washer, but those were easy enough to put up.
Bring your fly swatter, because East Texas has alot of flies and they found there way inside.
The cabin's AC unit did have a hard time keeping up with the Texas heat, and we had to keep the cabin at about 78°, which was fine for us, but may be too hot for some.
We all had a great time and I would stay there again.
