“Large room with 2 comfortable lounge chairs special owners pampered us”

“A lovely motel in Lakes Entrance. Everything we needed.”

“Exceptional cleanliness, great location and a very comfortable stay! We recently stayed here and were extremely impressed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and fresh. I am very sensitive to dust and usually notice it straight away, but I had absolutely no issues during our stay, which is a real testament to how clean the room was. The location is excellent, close to the centre and the beach. The staff were very attentive, friendly and proactive throughout our stay. The bed was also extremely...

“A challenging property to review. It's not up to standard compared to similar style cottages we have stayed at with similar feature lists. That's despite being in a good location. Despite the positives they are insufficient for us to consider staying there again. A picture is worth a thousand so study carefully those shared. Some will find the cottages average, some will be pleasantly surprised, and some may wish to check out on arrival. The cottages are best described as quirky. The corner spa...

“Liked our lake view and it’s close to everything.”

“Nice size cabin for family of 4, quiet suburb, close enough to river to go for a walk - which we did. Shops down the road if you have a car, can use the pool at the leisure centre during the winter.”

“We had a lovely stay, I can honestly say this a great place, so clean, comfy bed, great location and kitchenette with everything needed. We were welcomed at reception and also provided with some milk and cookies which were delicious., I would highly recommend staying here.”

“Electric car charging isn’t allowed. Cabin is small and old, guess you get what you pay for so can’t expect much.”

“Unit was clean but very tired. Kitchen cupboards doors and draws all need replacing/ readjusting. Front security door is almost falling off hinges.”

“Convenient location .Big room .Ambience outside poor . Building run down but clean room . OK for overnight stay .”

“The property was tired and needs work. The external door to the room was rotten at the corners. The external stairway to the room was covered in external carpet that was rotten and torn on the step Riske’s. The grass needs a cut and tidy up. The whole building is crying out for a paint. The front fence is falling down. The sheets in the bed were thread bare. So even for a budget motel it was pretty poor.”

“Good option for n overnight en route to Melbourne ”

“In good condition and ample of space for family of 5. Kitchen is well-equipped. It has washing machine but no dryer in the villa. However, there is laundry facility in the park. The catch is the common laundry area closed from 6pm to 9am. Overall, we enjoy our stay and would recommend it.”

“Dated but clean motel with good ocean view. Helpful staff. Very reasonable pricing. Only downside was noisy youngsters in the next room who were up till 3am! And blockout curtains would be good too. For this price and facilities with two separate bedrooms for four adults, will stay again.”

“Highly recommend. Newly refurbished and the owners have thought of every detail. Great location. So close to beach and shops. ”

“I enjoy staying at the Anchorage because it is very good value for money, close to the footbridge and shops. Paul the manager is a very friendly person to deal with. One thing however the oven had not been cleaned from the previous guest but I do not cook any way so that did not trouble me. I look forward to my next stay there.”

“The cabin was very old and small for just 2 people. The road noise is loud, the fan/heater is loud, the rain on the thin roof is loud. Thankfully we didn't have any neighbours. The bed is too short for a 5'10 person. The receptionist was lovely and the property is well maintained but the cabin needs to be replaced”

“This property is way outdated and in bad disrepair. It can do with a huge overhaul.”
