Welcome to Hof Eckhorst. The Honeymoon apartment is one of our comfortable vacation rentals in the countryside. Here, at the narrowest point between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, between Schleswig and Eckernförde, and between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park, you can enjoy nature. LandLust, Landleben, LandGenuss, LandKind, Landmarken, and liebes Land show just how beautiful life in the countryside can be. The Honeymoon apartment has two bedrooms; one features a freestanding bathtub and a wood-burning stove, while the other has a large skylight where you can gaze at the starry sky. A separate restroom and a small storage room are also included. Whether it’s breakfast or sunset, you’ll feel right at home on your own loggia. You’ll meet other guests in our barn hall or the fragrant wellness area with a sauna and a dream bath for two. Enjoy the summer by the lake or find peace and relaxation on the “dreamer’s bench” under the oak tree—you’ll hear the rustling of the leaves, smell the plants, and watch a contented herd of mares. Vacations with your own horse, riding lessons: Whether you’d like to bring your own horse or ride one of ours—whether for riding lessons or a trail ride through the beautiful countryside—you’re warmly welcome! Our riding facility offers: a 20 x 60-meter indoor arena, a 50 x 80-meter jumping arena, a 20 x 60-meter outdoor dressage arena, 2 lunging circles, a fenced-in galloping track, small cross-country jumps, and a water crossing. We host training courses and regular events.

Our Horse Breeding Program: At Hof Eckhorst, we love Hanoverian horses. Our year revolves around our horses. In the spring, the pregnant mares foal in the stables, while others are bred by the stallions through natural mating or artificial insemination. The grazing season begins in May, and both the foals and the broodmares spend day and night in their pastures. This is also when our competition season begins. The horses, which have been broken in over the winter, make their debut at events and competitions. This continues through September. Then the horses return to the stables. You’re welcome to experience this with us. We look forward to seeing you!

Programs and Tips: An information folder designed by us is available in every apartment. Here you’ll find important information about nearby attractions, special events, and tips. Every Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the sauna area is free of charge. We offer massages, medical foot care, nail care, and osteopathic treatments provided by certified specialists right here on-site. Would you like beverages or groceries delivered on the day of your arrival, a romantic picnic in the park, or a rose petal dream bath for two with sparkling wine and fresh fruit to enjoy?
