House was very clean and accommodating. Check in process smooth, owner very responsive. Unfortunately, the walls and floors are very thin, so would recommend going with a group that is all on the same sleep schedule. Otherwise, a lovely property.

I was so impressed with Jerry’s awesome communication, as well as the local hospitality manager, who checked in with me before we arrived and helped us access the house when the code to the door wasn’t working. The common space in the house (kitchen, dining room and living room) are AMAZING - open, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated and brightened by the natural light coming in from the beautiful windows. This helped create the perfect ambiance for my birthday weekend away w friends. The entire house is beautifully decorated throughout. The downsides are that the parking is pretty funky; there is one super narrow spot at the front of the house, and the other two spots are at the bottom of the house, up three floors of creaky wooden stairs. I sort of liked getting the extra steps, but it made unloading the cars tricky. The easiest way to access the house from these stairs is through bedrooms, which is also funky. If you have a large group and people are cool w people coming through their bedroom to get to the hot tub and parking, it’s fine. But if not you’d have to go up more steps to the street and then walk around to get into the house. So it’s a little awkwardly laid out. The reason I took off a star, however, is bc the master bedroom smells like mold, and there was mold growing in a few spots (shower curtain plus the other downstairs bathroom). We opened windows and aired out the house, but the smell lingered all weekend. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of.

Great house for large familes

We stayed here for spring break and it was a great trip. We did run into a broken fridge while here but they got in a new one in 24 hours pretty seamlessly. We did have to go get ice and lost some food, but the overall experience could not have been avoided (it’s not their fault the fridge broke. I all say the location of the house is on a windy, one road street with quite a bit of stairs so you have to be comfortable with stairs and I would bring a baby gate for anyone under age three. Would be nice if the property had one there but prherwise it was a great stay!

In the Redwoods

Wow! We were surrounded by gorgeous redwoods! The location was central to all our sightseeing activities from the Pacific Ocean to Napa Valley. We all enjoyed the very comfortable mattresses. It was nice to have the washer and dryer. Our host was readily accessible. There was plenty of space for all nine of us.

Family Thanksgiving

My wife, daughter, mother, in-laws, and cousin all stayed here for about a week for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for everyone, incredibly quiet and relaxing. Two very minor issues came up and the host was super responsive to both via text. All in all we would absolutely stay here again.

All expectations were met! Just as displayed on the internet…beautiful, peaceful, & tranquil. Everyone absolutely enjoyed themselves and were truly amazed. My biggest concern was parking; however, was never an issue once there. Thank you for making my wife’s 50th a beautiful experience!

The perfect location for connecting with family

My partner and I rented the house for a post-COVID reunion with my mother, my best friend, and her partner and it was perfect. It has lots of space to gather and talk/play games/read, a huge dining room table, and a spacious kitchen. There's also enough separation between the master suite, smaller bedrooms, and en suite unit to give everyone privacy and personal space (which can be difficult to find in nearby properties). We happened to be there during a serious storm that caused flooding and power/water losses all over Guerneville. Thankfully, the water was unaffected and the power stayed on (other than a few flickers). Had anything happened, it was reassuring to know that we could reach out to the property manager or his team for anything we needed and get a super prompt and helpful response. There are a million other reasons to recommend this property as well – gorgeous interior design, extremely thoughtful amenities, incredible view, huge hot tub – especially if you have a dog, are with a group, or just really want space to spread out.

Beautiful house and wonderful time!!

I booked Jerry's house for my wife's birthday trip. We enjoyed the stay and would love to stay again in the future. The house is beautiful and has plenty of space for a large group (We had 9 people and dogs!). We loved the layout and the furniture. The beds were comfortable, so as the pillows. Both Jerry and Nicole were easy to talk to, and they were very kind to prepare a surprise for my wife. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. We were a little worried about finding a parking space for our third car. But it was not challenging at all. We followed the digital guidebook and were able to find a parking 2 minutes walk away. I highly recommend the rental to anyone who wants to get away from the city.
