This is our third stay at Island Sunrise. We much enjoy the closeness to the beach and the quietness of the area. High-rise locations are not our fav! It is always clean with all the amenities and space we need. My only other comment would be to have guidance during a hurricane. We asked, but got no response. Being new to that situation, we didn’t know how the location would be during a storm surge. So we booked another room inland and totally moved out for the night. It added to our stress and cost of our trip. I know weather is uncertain, but if we had known a 1-3 surge would not exceed the dunes, we would have stayed.

This condo is great is all aspects - located on the beach, 4th floor view of the beach, clean, comfortable, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, etc.., except getting into the unit. The ten digit door code provided did not work and the management company was of little help to resolve the issue. The key (only one) from the lockbox was our only issue. We spent the 5 days playing “who has the key”. Not relaxing or convenient. Other than that the condo was lovely.

The space was very nice overall, it was nice to have two bathrooms and bedrooms. The host was responsive when we asked if we could check in early. The beds were uncomfortable, but it seemed to only phase us parents as the kids didn’t seem to mind. The view was amazing, the pool was freezing, but the location was perfect to all shops, beach and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Me, my mom, sister, 1 year old, and 9 week old stayed. It had everything we needed. We saw dolphins from the balcony, the beach was very easy access. We will be staying again!

The condo was beautiful. It had nice floors, adorable decor, and up to date appliances, it was just missing a few important details needed for a traveler. PLEASE ADD: instructions on how to use the television (which of the 5 remotes to use & how to get to cable TV to watch live sports), more than one roll of toilet paper for the unit, please have paper towels and soap available in the kitchen, as well as having more than one trash bag available for a week stay. These are basics that most condos provide for a traveler. PLEASE ALSO ADD a dust pan and alarm clock for travelers. One last request would be to shorten the 10 digit passcode to get in and out of the condo during the day. It was very difficult for our children to memorize. I hope this was helpful insight. It really is a nice place.

This unit is updated and really cute. However, it needs a deep clean, there was lots of dust on headboards, blinds, top of refrigerator, etc. also, master shower has an issue with water pressure that needs to be looked into. Overall, it was a nice unit.

The location is perfect and the condo has a lot of extras (I.e. cookware, washer/dryer, and stuff for the beach); however, like previous posts have mentioned, the door was a huge inconvenience for us. On two different occasions, we were unable to open the door. The first time was remedied over the phone, but the second time, we waited for nearly two hours, at night, for someone to come fix the door. Additionally, we had a lot of sand in the condo upon our arrival and there were beer caps from the previous guests on the porch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but please, fix the door! :)

Pros: *Conveniently on the water *Closet full of beach toys, chairs, and a cooler Cons: *Building was extremely old and updates done to the home didn’t change the fact that it’s all old and gross *Our door code suddenly stopped working and it took nearly 2 hours of contacting customer service for us to gain entry to the room again. We were stuck outside for 2 hours until 10p…wet, sandy, and hungry after being at the beach. There was certainly no rush to help us. *The dryer in the room doesn’t dry. We had to restart the dryer 10+ times to get our clothes dry and 15+ times to get our towels dry. *No beach towels provided. Only 1 bath towel per person provided (and really no way to wash/dry them thanks to the awful dryer). *Not enough toilet paper provided for a week’s stay. *Shower was awful - two streams of water at most We won’t be staying here again.

The booking and checkin process was flawless. The condo was clean upon arrival. It is a very cute condo with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable. Great beach views from the balcony! A balcony with a good view is the number one requirement for our vacation. The location is ideal. It seems the beach around the condo was less busy than other parts which was a huge bonus. I would not hesitate to rent again or recommend. Thank you!

It was a nice little getaway for our family of 6. The condo building itself, the elevator made some noises. The actual condo was cute. There was sand still on the floor when we arrived but we just went ahead and swept it up and went on with our vacation!

Overall the condo has cute decor and is in a perfect location to everything. The flooring in the condo looks very nice and I love that there is no carpet, but from the moment we walked in you could feel sand under your feet. I even swept several times but still couldn’t get it all up. Perhaps mats inside the doors might help collect some of the sand from outside. The master bedroom bed needs to be replaced as well as the bathroom shower liner. You can tell that it’s an older building so there is some wear showing but overall a nice stay.

This was a nice place to stay for a month, the only complaint i had was the the couch. It was not very comfortable and kind of awkward for a 6'3 person. There where no other issues with his unit, I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a month stay in the area.

We enjoyed our vacation and loved the location of the condo. However; upon our arrival the condo was not ready or clean at the scheduled 4 pm clock in. It took time to reach someone by phone and they were able to get the cleaners in which took them almost 2 hrs to clean the condo. During this time I was told that a supervisor would call me within the hour, then later it turned to they would call me and to stay by my phone. After hours go by I asked that they call me in the morning through text message so I could go spend time at the beach with my family. No one ever called, I never received an email or any kind of attempt of communication from their end. We enjoyed the condo after it was cleaned, the location and our vacation was a blast. The lack of costumer service from their supervisor is very disappointing.
