An absolute wonderful vacation

This was our first time staying at the beach club and it was way better than we expected! Our stay was so relaxing! Our room was super clean upon arrival and the resort itself is very clean. This place is very family friendly and honestly may be our go to from here out!

Incredible views! Relaxing week.

First time staying at The Beach Club. Views were incredible. Area next to Doral is not developed making beach crowd size lower than other areas on the beach. Pools and outside areas well kept.

Beach Club Vaca 2022

We've been to the Beach Club many times booked through Pam Martin, and this trip was so relaxing. Just what we all needed. Doral 1408 is a great condo for the four of us. It's well equipped in the kitchen and the beds were perfect. My best recommendation for this unit is that I would book it again!

Not as advertised

The pictures of this condo are deceiving. The guest bedroom bed and dresser are both broken. Knobs were falling/ missing off of the dresser. The guest bed was disconnected from the bed frame. The living room furniture is all very used. The shower curtain in the master bath was moldy and ripped in half. Pictures throughout the condo were barely secured to the walls. Wall decor was laying around in random places throughout the condo and not stored away or hung up. The kitchen felt sticky and nasty. Overall the resort was nice, but the room was disappointing and not as expected.

The condo's furnishings and views were a lovely respite from day to day life.

First, I want to say that Pam was a gem to work with! The condo: It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked, and the furniture was comfortable. The mattress in the master bdrm was good, and the couch sat well for the 2 of us. Patio seating was great! The table & chairs are comfortable and are high enough to enjoy an unobstructed view of the beautiful beach & gulf. There were some beach toys and chairs available in the outdoor closet which was a very nice treat. My husband had to work while we were there, and the internet connection was strong and stable throughout our visit. On our first full day, a storm with high wind speed and extremely strong gusts came through, and the condo personnel were out prepping the buildings in case things got nasty. It was encouraging to see how prepared and efficient they were. Local stuff: We took the Dauphin Island Ferry into Ft. Morgan from Mobile and that was fun, definitely worth the time and money. There's a new Dollar General close to the condo. (Hopefully the last business to come down the path. Part of why we choose FM is the separateness from GS.) Sadly, there was only one bright spot regarding restaurants this time, and that was Nonna's Pizzeria. It was so good that we planned to eat there again before leaving. The 2 other places where we ate had good service but only okay food.

Meh. Needs a new house keeper

Pros: The condo was a great location. Beautiful views and loved the food truck area at the front of the resort. Overall the grounds were clean and our pool at dorsal was kept pretty clean. There was plenty of room for myself and my 4 kids. We originally booked for 7 and I don’t think we would have been comfortable if the other 3 guests came. Although it says it sleeps 10. Overall my kids and I had a great time. For future or anyone else going. Fort Morgan is a long stretch road and just to get to the main stores and restaurants it’s about 20 min drive. I would get groceries on your way in. Otherwise there is a dollar general and overpriced store. Cons: The cleanliness of the condo was less than satisfactory. I personally had to purchase cleaning supplies and scrub disgust and stains out of the tubs. The master bathroom tub was so stained that I did the best I could but it was still severely stained from a molded bath mat. I arrived back from the store to see the manager had brought some cleaning solutions. Which I did use to help disinfect the counters and other high traffic areas. As it was dirty. The balcony door in the living room was so hard to open and stuck at times. So we had to use the bedroom balcony door. The dishwasher had dishes left in there and it was a musty smell coming from the dishwasher when opened. Also the top rack was stuck and unable to pull out so we did all the dishes by hand. There was moldy towels left inside the washer along with the previous guest’s sock. And the refrigerator was dirty. Overall they need a new house keeper.

The pool was great, The ocean was beautiful. The kitchen did not have a pizza cutter and the frying pans are so old and chipped it is unsafe to use. one of the doors was broken, the main bedroom light was broken and the guest bathtub was clogged. All of this was fixed in or after our stay. There was an extra charge for parking. this was not included in the initial rental.

Amazing trip!!

To start the property manager Pam was so easy to work with and her communication and customer service was fast!! The property was stunning and the condo unit we stayed in D1408 was so perfect for a family!!we had the absolute BEAT week in Gulf Shores and the views were breathtaking. Ours kids had a blast playing at the beach, taking the ferry to the island, doing a dolphin cruise and ghost crab hunting! The condo was well stocked with items for cooking and eating. We cannot wait to come back here again from South Dakota!!

Very happy with how easy it was to get access to our room. Everything was very clean and well kept and the furniture was nice and updated. The air conditioning was working well and seemed fairly new. My wife and i stayed for our anniversary and will definitely be making our way back to that room.
