We had a wonderful family vacation at this property, very clean, spacious and very accommodating for someone with a disability. The hosts were easy to contact and communicate with. We loved the quiet area and nearby beach access. The elevator was a game changer for us, to be able to include my husband on this trip. I would definitely love to come back again some day.

Spring Break Fun

The beach house was amazing and absolutely beautiful! Everything was easy and convenient and very peaceful. We will definitely be returning. Truly a wonderful Spring Break vacation!

It was a very nice and clean property. We really enjoyed our stay. One thing that really needs to be addressed is the condition of 3 different king bed mattresses. Every one was horrible in that they all sunk into the middle of the bed. Please replace them! Otherwise a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful Beach Property

The house had all the amenities you could hope for in a beach property. We had easy access to the beach, huge indoor and outdoor space to spend time in. The property management was very responsive to questions and we were checked in on constantly to make sure we were having a good stay. We highly recommend this property for your next beach vacation.

Quiet Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. This place was perfect for our quick trip to the beach. We stayed for a few days and would have loved to stay longer. The home was a quick walk across the street to a nice boardwalk taking you right to the beach. The home was away from congestion of the main areas and at the beach you had a pick of your spot with few people around. The only issues we had were working the showers and figuring out some of the fans and lighting.

Great!

Great stay for the whole family!! 4 adults and 3 kids ( ages 6,8,10). Close to the lagoon for fishing and the beach right across the street! The house met all expectations and we plan to stay again in the future.

Great family vacation

Had a great time! Property is beautiful, very roomie, great location and everything you need right there. The boys did lots of fishing behind the house in the lagoon. Small walk to beach. Was a great vacation.

Perfect location and family friendly

The property is on a road that is not congested with traffic which makes it very quiet and peaceful. The lagoon area is great and beach is a short walk across the road. There was a coffee pot but we brought our own and also some extra kitchen essentials which were needed. I highly recommend this house for a family get away.

Perfect stay for our family

We were very happy with our stay at Lagoon Time! It was the perfect fit for our family. Very clean, nicely decorated and good beds! The location was exactly what we wanted. Right between the lagoon and Gulf. Will definitely be back!

Great stay!

Nice property located close to all the Gulf Shores activities. The elevator was a huge help for my elderly parents and really boosted their enjoyment of their vacation. Furnishings were a bit dated and it could have used another round of cleaning ( which is probably typical as our trip was off-season),but the house definitely had all the amenities required for a hassle-free vacation. Recommend.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. You could hear the waves crashing on the beach, and it’s away from all the traffic and craziness of downtown. Very peaceful! My only complaint is not being able to access the garage or close it without using the elevator, and there’s no steps down the back of property.

Home away from home

We had a great time. The house is awesome. Has everything you need. We loved being on the lagoon and kayaking with only steps to walk across to ocean. Great views throughout and the elevator made life easy with the luggage and cooler. Only thing I would recommend is front porch furniture and some dining chairs on back porch. This was my favorite of all the houses we have ever stayed at on vacation.

Best kind of beach- quiet

We chose this property mainly because of the elevator and all the rooms (for the most part) being on the same level. The house was equipped to prepare all our planned meals even birthday cupcakes. Loved having quick access to the bay as well as the beach. The beach was so perfect as we were one of just a few families. The walk to the beach was short. The back porch was perfect for morning coffee, and the large table was great for evening meals. It was a great week and changed our opinion of Gulf Shores.

Thanksgiving on the beach.

Very large and roomy house. It would have been nice to know that the fourth bedroom with twin beds was on the second floor. It would have also been nice to know that there was no coffee maker, only a Keurig. The elevator was a big help for unloading and loading.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay. The home accommodated our group very well. The beach access is close and the views from the home were great. You can hear the waves from the front porch. We did wish for a few more pots, pans, etc that were larger to accommodate a larger group. The kitchen was slightly sparsely furnished if you plan to cook a lot during your stay. However we were able to make it work with what was provided for the most part. I would absolutely stay here again for the access to the beach and gulf shores. We really loved the layout of the home.

It is a very spacious house and was easy to get across the street to the beach, which was nice. This property is really meant for guests driving in and bringing all of their stuff for the beach, towels, etc. Our whole group was flying in and we had to buy beach chairs at Walmart because there wasn't anything there. Also, the elevator didn't work. We reached out and someone came out to fix it, but they didn't fix anything, didn't leave a note as to what we should do, and didn't respond to my follow up about it. The house also had no dish towels and only one bath towel per person, so we had to do laundry multiple times on our trip - not ideal on vacation.

Memory Maker!

My husband and I and my 90-year-old mother-in-law chose Lagoon Time for a very special trip to the Gulf. It was the first time in years that my mother-in-law had visited the ocean, and it had been quite a while since I and my husband had spent time on Alabama's Gulf beaches. We had a blast and loved Lagoon Time. The views of the Lagoon from the back deck and living room windows were beautiful and provided a great spot to watch the sunsets. The front porch allowed us to see the white dunes and the blue of the ocean across the street. The house was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect for either staying put and enjoying the beach there, or taking off for day trips and local attractions. We all hated to leave and hope we can return soon.

Cute but…

The outside of the house was beautiful and the floor plan was great, but the cleaning was subpar, the kitchen was dirty and the furniture definitely needs to be updated and I felt like I walked into a 1985 Ethan Allan store. Whomever owns this place needs to spend a few bucks. The amount of money charged for the house, it should’ve had better kitchenware, rugs, and furnishings. Old pots and mix matched everything. Didn’t even have wine glasses. There’s no excuse for even being sold.lthere.

Amazing accommodations

The home was lovely, and comfortably furnished. My granddaughter requested that we permanently move to this home! We made breakfast daily and cooked two dinners during our stay. The kitchen was set up well. We enjoyed the location. I would recommend that renters bring their own coffee pot. While one is available in the home it leaks and is difficult to use. It took 10 min per cup. All coffee drinking adults grumbled daily about this. Of course, we were disappointed with the beach accessibility and would not recommend this to the retired generation. We would like to have know the difficulty of the beach access up front because my 85 year old father in law could not spend time on the beach with us and he was greatly disappointed that he missed out on the fun. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully, the beach repairs are made soon. To keep folks returning.
