Long overdue vacation

Perfect is the first word that comes to mind. Jean's house is exactly what we needed for our group (2 families; 4 adults, 4 kids (ages 5, 7, 8, 11). There was plenty of space for everyone but we didn’t feel the house was so big that we spent the week looking for the kids. And the adults appreciated the privacy of our own rooms and bathrooms! The house is well appointed, all you need is your swimsuit, toothbrush, and a trip to the grocery store! The location couldn’t have been better for our needs. If you want to be in the “center of it all”, this property isn’t for you. If you are looking for an uncrowded beach, a slower pace, and a quiet community, then this property will check all the boxes. We loved having access to the pool in the evenings or on the two days when Hurricane Debby had made the gulf too rough for swimming. Jean is an amazing host; very thoughtful and responsive. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s rental for the week. The only thing we will change for our next stay is to stay for 10 days instead of 7!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Staying in the Dunes neighborhood is always our favorite for the mixture of beautiful neighborhood with amenities and the peaceful rural beach experience. Being right next to the wildlife refuge allows for long peaceful walks with the wildlife. Miss Jean was an incredibly gracious host, and has the gift of hospitality. We didn't have one need that went unmet. We highly recommend the Lilly Pad. There is obviously a lot of love in that house, and we felt the peace we needed on our vacation there.

Relaxation at it’s finest!

The is way above any house or condo we have ever stayed in. The house was so clean one would think no one had ever been there. The air fryer was great to have since I use one at home. Everything we could need for the beach was there except sunscreen. The house was laid out where everyone had their on getaway and balcony. We rented a golf cart which was delivered and picked up by the company. The walk to the beach was so close the cart was needed but nice to have anyway. We will definitely stay @TheLilyPad again. I highly recommend!

Great location and easy beach access!

The space was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the beach. The beach itself is amazing and not too crowded. You are in your own gated community. If you like deep sea fishing there is a marina across the street from the neighborhood. Some restaurants close by as well. For more selection you can head over to Gulf Shores (25 min drive). We spent some time shopping in Orange Beach as well. Didn't ride the fairy over to Dauphin Island, but it is on the list for next time. Overall, it was just what we were looking for in a beach stay.

Very Nice!

The Lily Pad was perfect for our family! We had the best time! You can see the beach from the back decks! Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of room.. it has it all!! Jena was great and always got right back to us if we needed anything!

Family Vacation 2023

Our stay was great! The view is amazing and very relaxing. We had adults, and children ages 12 - 1. We were all comfortable! The kitchen was stocked well. Probably the best-stocked kitchen I have had at a vacation rental. Jean was a great communicator. Thank you!

The Lilly Pad was Perfect!

There were eight of us that stayed from a Saturday to a Saturday. 4 adults and children 12,16,18,an 19. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. It was a short walk to the beach but we elected to rent a gold cart and it was a FAB idea. It was great for shuttling beach equipment and people at various times throughout the day. The home was very clean, the kitchen was STOCKED with spices and kitchenware. The closet of games and beach towels was very handy in addition to the beach box filled with goodies. The beds were very comfortable. The community was also nice and quiet and beach was not heavily populated. Fort Morgan is a great place to stay if you want to spend most of your time at the beach house. We did go into Gulf Shores a few nights to eat and a few days of shopping, but the majority of the time was spent at the house cooking or eating sandwiches on the beach. Would for sure recommend this property as the owners were great to communicate with.

Great location

Great location, easy access to pool and beach. Owner communicates well before check in with lots of info about local things to do and places to eat with reviews of those. Clean, large space. Only large complaint would be no place to store food in cabinets due to so many extra kitchen supplies but it was nice to be well stocked so hard to complain! Owner was responsive when we arrived and had random questions!

Very nice beach house

We really enjoyed our stay! Very spacious, well maintained, appointed and decorated unit. No issues checking in or out, host was very thoughtful and responsive. It's a very quiet neighborhood and there's a lot of open space between the first and second tier houses. The pools are close by as well and well maintained.

House Close to Beach

Our group included 4 adults, 1 teen and a baby. House was adequately stocked with everything needed in kitchen and towels, etc. Close to beach and pool, although the pool was freezing even though it was 80 degrees for the week. Can rent tents and chairs at beach, or the house has umbrellas, chairs and beach toys.

The perfect place for two small families

Jean made sure we had an amazing time with our stay at The Lily Pad. Between the two families, we had 4 kids all under the age of 4 and it was still an amazing time. The only bad thing we’re flies at the beach, but, Jean told us ahead of time about that. We would completely recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back in the future!

Quiet Beach neighborhood, Beautiful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fort Morgan. The owner was very kind, and everything was provided that you could possibly need (except clothes, food and personal items of course). If you are looking for constant, upbeat entertainment, this place is not for you, but if you are looking for a clean, quiet place to enjoy a vacation with your family at the beach, this is it!

Relaxing Trip!

We had a great trip at the Lilly Pad! Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view was great. We loved all the windows and how bright the house was during the day. The kitchen had everything we needed. Jean was great about communicating with us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!!!

Great location on Ft. Morgan! The house was spacious, clean, & had everything we needed for a week at the beach. Our 3 girls loved the upstairs room with plenty of beds & a TV. Our oldest son was happy having his own space down stairs, with his own bathroom & access to the porch. The walk to the beach was very short. The pool was even closer. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs, & boogie boards to use. We loved the simple but cute beach themed decor. Living room was comfortable with a nice tv. The view was outstanding! Plenty of charging stations around the house for phones, & iPads. The owner was great & easy to deal with. We hope to stay again next summer! Best place we’ve stayed in Baldwin county by far!!!

House and Beach were great.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. The parking near the beach was a nice perk. We tried to go to the nearest neighborhood pool- it was not working and I’m pretty bad condition. The owner communicates thoroughly and is very particular. That did not bother us at all, but there may be too many rules for some travelers. I believe her high standards are reflected in the cleanliness of the home.

Family vacay

My family and our close friends decided to book this house due to the online description. It was indeed just as described and had everything that we needed. It was a very short walk to an amazing private beach and if you don’t want to walk you are able to drive and park with parking spaces provided. The house has plenty of sand toys so there is no need in bringing any. They have tents and chairs on the beach to rent as well. We loved our stay and never needed to go to town for anything. There are several places to eat within a few minutes from the house. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for opening up your house to us!!

Great house and location

We had a great experience at The Lilly pad. The house was very close to the beach and the extra beach chairs and boogie boards were such a nice thing for the owners to provide. House was clean and well stocked with all pans/dishes/appliances you could need. Owners were very responsive and even sent a message when there was a rip current warning to make sure we were aware. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay at the end of Fort Morgan. You can walk to the beach and to the community pool. Very clean and reasonably priced. Owners are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Will stay again!
