    This beach home was featured on the A&E show VACATION RENTAL POTENTIAL!


    This beautiful house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation! 3 bedroom/2 Bath with a large open kitchen and living area. A very private beach area with only one other house to share beach access. Immediate beach access on private property. Cable and wifi are available as well as a large open deck, picnic bench, and outside shower with privacy door. You will love this home for your getaway vacation! This house is great for those who love fishing! Excellent location that is close to the marina!
    You will love this home and its professionally decorated interior, 2 relaxing TV rooms, fully equipped kitchen, and location to the beach, marina, and golf courses!

    Should a hurricane or tropical storm threaten our area, we will follow the guidance of governing officials as pertaining to mandatory evacuations. Weather is beyond our control and does not constitute a refund. However, some weather-related issues may be covered by travel insurance, which must be purchased through vrbo - This is always a good idea during hurricane season.

Great place to relax

We had such a wonderful time here. The house was very comfortable for our group. The privacy and beach access right out the front door was the best! Very quiet, safe place for adults and children. Would recommend!

Beach Time

This was a nice property. We loved that even with 4 people we still had a place to go to be by ourselves. Was a nice walk to the beach. Great place to surface for the price!

Absolute Perfection

What an absolutely darling house in a quiet spot! We loved every minute of our stay. I don’t think I’ve ever checked in to a cleaner home, and it is so well equipped with all the necessities. Short walk to the perfect beach. I wish I could have stayed forever! Will definitely rebook! Don’t hesitate to book this adorable house!!

Beach trip

Beach house was a short walk to the beach which was great. Beds were comfortable, great water pressure, wonderful a/c, no bugs. We would stay again. There wasn’t an ice maker in the fridge or ice trays. Would recommend stopping at the dollar general and grabbing a few bags of ice on the way in.

Access to the beach was wonderful and having a concrete driveway that ran all the way to the boardwalk made reaching the beach so easy. House layout worked very well for our family. Son's family with 2-year-old stayed in one section and the rest of us in the remaining dubbed "the adult wing". Only complaint was that bed described as queen seemed like a double. Hot/cold outside shower got a lot of use. Overall, was extremely comfortable. I would rent it again.

Beach trip

The property was clean but sheets on the beds smelled musty like they had been on the beds a long time and not used. The pics show the house on the beach but there is a house in front of it. I traveled with my elderly mother and wanted something that was in a location she could sit on deck and see ocean. The instructions give to use the code to get in the house didn’t the lock button.

Property is not as advertised

Location of house and layout of house was wonderful for 2 families. But the house was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived- which for a 300 cleaning fee was confusing. The sheets had stains everywhere. There were also nails sticking out of the deck and wooden chairs on the deck, the lights under the deck didn’t work, fridge & microwave need to be replaced. The house also didn’t look anything like the pictures on the interior. It was disappointing for what we paid to stay for the week. The owner was notified, and she just suggested she may need to “look into” those things.

Loved it!

It was so quiet and tucked away from the tourist areas, yet not too far. It was a very relaxing stay. The pics don't really show that there is a row of two story houses between this one and the water and that you hear the pool pumps running all the time you're outside. But otherwise it was just what we were hoping for. I only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because the construction company working on the house directly in front of ours (we were informed about the construction) put their porta potty 5 feet from our house where the underneath sitting area was so we had to look at and smell it every time we were outside. By the time you read this review it probably has been removed though, they are very close to finishing that house.

Great stay

We had a fantastic and relaxing trip and would love to stay here again sometime. The location is perfect. We stayed during the second week of August, and we almost had the beach to ourselves. The house was perfect for us. We only had 3 people, but even with more, we still would have plenty of room. We cooked several meals, and the utensils, plates, and pots and pans, met our needs. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating. There is a house between this one and the beach, but there are still views of the gulf. I spent every morning drinking coffee on the deck and listening to the waves. The walk to the beach is very short. Tip: We rented chairs and umbrellas from a local company that delivered and picked up from the house, so we got to spend the afternoons napping in the shade. We’ll definitely do that again. Host was very responsive and helpful and checking in and out was a breeze.

Great place for a quiet rest.

We had a few days here between a four week RV tour and 10 days visiting New Orleans, Memphis, and Nashville. We needed the R&R, and this place was perfect. It is well equipped, comfortable, clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had lots of lovely towels, and plenty of hot water. The wifi worked well while we were there, and it was utterly peaceful. The beautiful beach is a 40 yard stroll. The only (very minor) criticism is a lack of hanging space in the two main bedrooms. A small irritation, more than compensated by the rest of the place. Thoroughly recommended.

House is a great location. Just a short walk to the beach, perfect for small children!

The house is in a great location. Just a short walk to the beach, perfect for small children. The layout of the home was a little different than we thought, but we made it work. This house is perfect for family vacation, and I love the fact that it has two different sitting areas, as we have two smaller children. Lots of toys and games for kids to play, and a nice sitting area to hang out outside. The outdoor shower is definitely a plus! We did have some issues with the sink and bathtub not draining when we first arrived, but contacted the Fort Morgan property Management, and they sent someone right out to correct the issue. Definitely had a great stay!

2022 Fishing trip.

The house and location were perfect for our annual fishing trip. Very short walk to the beach. The one and only complaint any of us had was the lack of an outdoor water spigot to clean fish and our gear.

Great getaway in a cute little cottage

Overall we had a very positive experience with this rental. Perfect size for two couples. We did not need to use the 3rd bedroom but would have been good if we had had a couple grandchildren with us. Kitchen was very well supplied. We loved that we were so close to the beach. Cable TV and Wifi worked. We did not have enough hand towels or dish towels to start, but made a call to management company and they were delivered the next day. BarBque grills were unusable, maybe the only disappointment we had. Weather was chilly the week we were there but it was very warm sitting in the chairs on the deck. Be sure to bring lawn chairs for the beach, that was one thing we wish we would have had. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable & Close to the Beach

It's quite a trip down 180, but worth the drive! So glad you told us to get groceries on our way! First impressions weren't so great - the lower area was messy & there were unexpected houses next door. Once inside, we were very impressed with the furnishings, decorations & a well-supplied kitchen. We had plenty of space to spread out with 2 full baths & 2 living room areas. The beach is so close with it's white sand & absolutely gorgeous sunsets! We enjoyed the short drive to the fort one afternoon & went on the ferry to Dauphn Island on another day. The weather was amazing for late February & we really enjoyed our two-week stay :)

Great for a Family Get-Away!

This property was perfect for our family! The owner was easy to communicate with. The beach house was clean, and well-stocked with linens and kitchen items. There were plenty of extra quilts, towel hooks and mirrors, and the owner had a bookshelf full of great books to read while staying there. Outside were multiple seating options on the deck, below the house, and there was even a picnic table. At the time we stayed, there was a good view of the beach and it only took a short walk to be on the beach. I understand that another beach house will eventually be rebuilt in front of it, and this will definitely affect the view. However, if you don’t mind that, and are just looking for a nice place to stay that is clean and has quick and easy beach access, it would still be a great choice!
