Great location and great view of the Gulf! Cheerful and accommodating house for our family. The kids loved the heated pool. The beach was amazing. More affordable than other houses we’ve stayed at.

Overall we had a great stay. There was plenty of room. It was nice having 2 refrigerators! And being within walking distance of several eateries was amazing. The pool was a hit with all the family. The floors were not very clean (we all had black feet if we didn’t wear shoes) and there was a fishy smell in the fridge. We brought our family dog but then learned that the beach didn’t allow dogs (maybe that can be somewhere prior to booking).

Our (2nd) stay was prefect as the home is gorgeous and having the pool, direct beach access is perfect. However, my grandchild is eight and cannot walk/crawl etc. To carry him up/down the entrance stairs was very taxing. Additionally, with no handicap features inside the home, trying to bath him proved to be hard and not safe as he very limited mobility. We LOVE this property but will not be able to stay again due to these reasons. We will continue to promote this location as a perfect get-a-way for those that do not have limitations.

We loved the house and enjoyed our stay! We have already talked about going back next summer! Everyone only had good things to say about the house and location. The hosts were amazing to work with and were always available if needed. They provided recommendations from where to eat and what activities to do that helped us out during our stay. Location is close to any stores you would need. Grocery, shopping and rentals all close by. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend for families or large groups.

Check in was extremely easy and worked perfect. The house on the beach is awesome if you are looking for a home vs. a condo on the beach!! The outdoor spaces, pool and area under the house were awesome. Our family thought the sheets could have had a bit better quality but other than that our stay was perfect!

Great family place

Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of room for the kids.Very clean so felt like we were at home. Kitchen and dining held everyone for mealtime with so much space by the pool to enjoy. Short walk to the beach and the view was fabulous. Very close to really great restaurants and other things. My family had a wonderful time and would definately come back here. Easy instructions on entry and all that was expected for us and from management.

Fantastic Property!

The location of this home is perfect! On the beach and just a short walk to many of the restaurants and stores. The 5 bedroom designed let our group congregate when they wanted but had all kinds of room to get some “alone-time” when needed. Great communication for the owners and property managers!

Superb SeaRae

Stayed at SaeRae for a family celebration and was highly impressed with the house. The recent renovations were a nice surprise from when we initially booked. The house is very open & airy but still provides ample privacy for larger groups. House has every amenity you could need & want for a beach trip. As a low maintenance planner, I appreciated the lack of guess work with the whole process. Everything was straight-forward and simple throughout the whole process. Hosts were extremely responsive anytime I needed anything but provided all information up front, really streamlining communication. Excellent customer service. Location of the property was fantastic. Very close to the “main drag” and walkable to restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. The house is located between two (smaller scale) condo buildings yet was still extremely quiet and private. Can see myself coming back here with my family for years to come. Cannot express how great of a find this house is.

Beautiful!

Loved the ice machine and extra fridge. Clean private pool and walk right out to the beach! Plenty of parking and room to spread out! I couldn’t find pot holders… and no beach towels, but I had read that towels were not included so we came prepared.

Perfect House!

We loved this house! We were in town for a wrestling tournament and decided to make it a New Year's vacation. The house was perfect, the location was perfect and it was a great experience. We had 5 teenage boys, my mom and her husband and me and my husband. We all had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. We definitely plan to stay there again next year!!

The little home on the beach

Sea-Rae is a great place to spend your beach vacation! Nestled between two multi-level condos, it provides a sanctuary for families that like to be around people but not too close to them. My husband and I were amused when we realized that was how we felt after a couple of days. The home is comfortable and clean but do be ready to bring/buy cleaning supplies, PT, TP, garbage bags and such. That info is spelled out in the emails sent prior to arrival. There are grocery stores nearby if you do need to stock up. Loved the free standing ice machine, that was just a great little perk! The beds are comfortable, the showers are tight. Nice to have w/d so you don’t have to pack so many clothes. The pictures show the rooms are painted bright colors but they must have just finished updating because everything was neutral. Loved several of the wall art! The home is right on the beach so we could take breaks if you were hungry or too hot. The pool was nice but was much too warm during the heat of the day, it was August. We opted to have beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us by Ike’s Beach Service who were very pleasant and attentive. The driveway was huge with lots of parking, it was a bit hard to find when we got there but it was dark which made it a little challenging. We took short walks to restaurants and stores. We had such a great vacation and will definitely keep this home in our rotation!

Fabulous Stay in Gulf Shores!

Our family and friends (10 total) can't say enough good things about this beach home! Location is perfect. Parking ample. Home is immaculate and view of beach and pool from back deck is amazing! The pool is clean and water a perfect temp. We just returned and no heater needed. If we were nitpicking, we might suggest some Tupperware type containers be stocked for storing food in fridge. Most VRBOs we have stayed at have them. Also, the coffee maker in the kitchen is not a Keurig so note that if bringing coffee from home. Having two refrigerators is a very smart idea for large groups. Check-in and Check-out very easy and communication with the rental agency is spot on! Any question was answered immediately. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful vacation where the beach is just a few steps away!!!!!

Excellent Location

We stayed at SeaRae with 8 adults and 5 kids. The house had plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were right on top of each other. The kitchen is a great size and the new ice maker was a huge benefit. Since we were staying in early March, we opted to have the pool heated. We couldn't keep the kids out of it! They liked playing in the sand on the beach, but when they wanted to swim, the pool was the best option. You couldn't ask for a better location either. This house is within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and bars. It's a perfect spot for both the kids and parents to have fun!

The whole family

We went to Gulf Shores for a baseball tournament. My extended family, teenagers, their friends, parents and in-laws all were able to enjoy this home comfortably it was clean, had the supplies that you would need and wasn’t overly fussy. The kitchen was nicely stocked and it had a great washer and dryer. Had a nice chairs to sit in on the balcony and by the pool. Could watch the ocean from the home. It was an easy walk to get to the water. I love the fact that it’s an independent home and you don’t have to deal with others walking up the same stairs as you or risk your kids going into the wrong apartment. It was a great trip.

SeaRae was great!

This was the perfect property for a family vacation, the online listing probably even undersells how great it was. The owners were very communicative throughout the entire process. I received several e-mails with tips and tricks for the area as well as extra info that might be useful around the property while we were there. The pool area was awesome, lots of seating and some of it was underneath the house so you could get some shade or wait out a quick rain shower. Even better was the direct access to the beach, made it super easy to get all the kids to the beach and set up! Overall, I can't say enough about what a great time we had and when we come back to Gulf Shores this property will be the first we look at to use!

Family Vacation

As a group of 10 it’s always hard to find someplace to stay and since it’s vacation we all want our own space and that’s exactly what Sea Rae had. With 4 kids under 5 we wanted a private pool just so we could keep an eye on them and we loved that this house had one. My oldest daughter never wanted to get out. We picked the perfect time of year because the crowds were gone once school started and all the restaurants were no wait, even with our large party! We loved LuLu’s and papa Rocco’s was some of the best pizza I have had in a long time! The next time we are in gulf shores we will 100% stay at Sea Rae.

Great location

SeaRae is located beautifully. House is plenty big enough to host a large family. Pool was great as the waves were too big this trip to enjoy the ocean water. However, the company does need to check with the cleaning crew to see that they are doing a better job. Beds were clean, showers were clean. Floors needed vacuumed and the outside of the appliances needed to be cleaned not to mention the greasy handprints on walls from previous visitors. If it hadn't been for the things that needed extra attention to for cleaning this would have been a perfect stay.

THE most wonderful place!!!

Perfectly situated on the beach for unhindered 180 degree views up and down the coast from morning to night. The pool was a luxury and with a toddler around we used it so much more than we thought. Great room opened to kitchen and the views of the gulf were the best. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Plenty of space for our 4 separate small families to find space but still enjoy being all together. Host was very responsive and helpful- thank you so much! We will be back!!!

SeaRae Triple A

11 out of 12 made it to our Family Vacation in Gulf Shores. SeaRae accomodated us very well. Lots of living space indoor and outdoor. Pool was clean and fun. Beach is right there. We saw the Blue Angels practice on Wednesday. Going home we took the Dolphin Island Ferry for a change. Lots of Great Memories!
