Perfect location - Outstanding communication with host. Spotless rental with everything we needed. Tons of space with convenient beach access. For those concerned about it being a duplex, we had neighbors 3 of the 4 days with zero issues. First time here but will NOT be the last!

We had a fabulous time in Fort Morgan. The house was so clean. When the gulf was too rough to swim, we had the pool to lounge in. We could go into town during the day and have beach and pool time in the afternoons and evenings. We love the family atmosphere in Fort Morgan area. Loved our stay at this house!

Large Family Get Together

This Beach House was an absolutely perfect vacation spot for our large family. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the views of the Gulf and the pristine white sand beach. The house itself was spacious and had all the amenities we could have asked for. The location was perfect for us, as it was just a short drive from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, but far enough away to feel like we had our own private oasis.

Loved the duplex and pool. The beach was close enough for a 75 year old with 4 artificial joints to go to the beach and back. All the family loved the huge long table that fit all of us!!!! We enjoyed it very much!! The Skipper’s

Plenty of room to spread out and rest, rock on the screened-in porch, or have large family meals. The accommodations are lovely! This area reminds me of old (70s) Destin. The only thing unexpected is all the oil rigs in the Gulf...but even they are beautiful lit up at night.

The BEST vacation ever!

We had the greatest time! The house was AMAZING! The view when you walk in is breathtaking! Rooms are beautiful. Beach was GORGEOUS. Our 11yo loved sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins. Our boys(14 and 15) had a blast looking at all the crabs at night(there were so many). All three kids loved the pool and snorkeling everyday! You also aren’t that far from all of the fun of Gulf Shores! This is the perfect location if you want a fun, no fuss, beautiful family vacation!

The only thing I would change is that I wish the pool were heated, so that we could have gone swimming without being cold during out stay since it was upper 70's/low 80'sF outside, but the water was still a little too cool to stay in the pool long.

Dining room table provided plenty of seating along with the living room all. Best of all, very private and literally right on the beach. The house was constructed with high end materials. It’s a SPLIT UNIT HOUSE. and the next door neighbors are very rude. But the unit is very clean

The shower outside made it easy to clean off before going in. Plenty of room. The pool was ideal for the kids and had toys. Not many people around on the beach. The beach also had a volleyball net. Will definitely book again!

2022 Family Vacation

Our family loved so much about this property. It has enough space for a large family to spread out when needed. The pool was very nice & the proximity to the beach made it easy to go back & forth frequently throughout the day. Overall was a great place. The only thing I would have changed is to have a few 'staples' like coffee, sugar.... All of the other VRBOs we have used in the past have had a small amount of these things to get us started. One even had a welcome basket with snacks. We did find a great little store just down the road to pick up a few things & we were able to get groceries delivered to the house. But definitely would go back to this one. It is a great area.

Great Week at the Beach

The kitchen was well stocked, and having the extra refrigerator as well as an ice maker in the bar area is such a nice feature. For our large group, it was such a treat to be able to all sit together at the large dining table. Property managers were pleasant to deal with, and quickly addressed our minor concerns. The pool and surrounding areas are well maintained, and it was nice to have some bonus pool toys, boogie boards there as well. The beach area is not crowded at all, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: This house was wonderful - everyone had a bedroom (and bed!) who needed one, and the individual families were able to sleep near one another. The beach access was super convenient - just down the ramp from the back deck. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need for older kids and adults. Having 2 refrigerators was great, and the tables were able to seat everyone at once, which was also nice! With the beach and the pool, you wouldn't think you'd need anything else to do, but the cards, games, and books provided were also super helpful for those family evenings in. The house was clean and well organized, and we would definitely stay again!

Great spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Rest Area East with several families and we also rented the attached unit next door. It was a prime set-up for large groups. I'm not sure I'd be interested in renting only one side but it's probably fine. The house is extremely well equipped. I was a little bummed that there wasn't a gas grill but they did have a usable charcoal grill which worked fine. I noticed that everyone around there seemed to be using charcoal so maybe that's a thing. My only recommendation would be to add dish towels and dish rags. We had to buy some and just left them there. In the scheme of things not a huge issue. There are tons of beach toys there which I imagine gets added to by guests. Bring your own beach chairs. Loved the deck and pool and the ramp down to the beach was perfect. I'd stay there again.

Misleading

First, there was nothing in the listing that indicated this was a shared property. There are 2 sides to this home. So… you share parking. But most of all you share the pool. Disappointed to say the least. 39 people sharing a small pool. I do t think so. Next is cleanliness. Being at the beach you would expect sand to be an issue. But not when you check in. The entire lower floor was gritty and sandy. Obviously no one cleaned under any furniture. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no extra. The downstairs bathroom had 1/2 a roll. One partial roll of paper towels. We have short term rentals. Imperative for comfort to have extra. Disappointed at best.

Family Vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great. The house was gorgeous and had plenty of space for our large family. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff messaged me upon arrival and was quick to respond. They also messaged me throughout the trip with warnings of jellyfish and how to treat a sting. I thought that was great and very helpful. My only issue was that there were a few nails sticking up in the deck around the pool that we stepped on a few times. And the biting flies were horrible. (Not a house issue). We soon heard from a local that the flies were bad around this time of year. Which was good to know for future trip planning. I will say it was about a 30 minute drive to get to town for places to eat or to the grocery store. Which really wasn’t a big issue seeing as how most of our time was spent on the beach and staying in. But if you’re someone that likes to go out about every night you’ll have to figure in how much time it will take to get there since some places close early. All in all we would love to stay in this house again. It was perfect for our family. Very clean, great amount of space, and perfectly homey/cozy. The two refrigerators and the ice maker was definitely a perk for me! As well as the huge kitchen table, open floor plan, and rocking chairs on the screened in porch. We can’t wait for our next beach trip at Rest Area East.
