Gunnison House

What a fantastic house!!! Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, spacious house with plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out. The kitchen had all we could need- griddle, crockpot and much more. The kitchen table was huge and fit our family of 10 comfortably around it! We only have two complaints: one of the beds was very uncomfortable, the springs were poking through. Second was the muddy driveway which made it a mess to load and unload our crew daily. Aside from those two issues, we loved the house!! We had deer come through the backyard as well as a fox! What a treat to see the beauty of nature right out the back windows! The neighbor is also very sweet and welcomed our families. We will definitely rent this beautiful home on our next Gunnison trip.

My family had thanksgiving here and it was wonderful!

The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need! We got about 2-3 feet of snow during our stay and the just was extremely responsive with getting a crew to plow us out! We loved the place and made so many memories:)

Elk Hunting Base Camp

This property was excellent for our needs. The house was stocked with everything to make our stay cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and a convenient distance to town. It was just what we were hoping for.

The house was clean and well stocked. The kitchen has everything you would need. There are multiple spaces inside and out for everyone the gather. If we had another family event in Gunnison, we would definitely rent this house again.

Nice cabin in a small city

This was a nice and cozy cabin right on the edge of Gunnison. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed playing some pool and hanging out in the living room.

Family Time

We had a wonderful time with family. We enjoyed our visit with our child at Western Colorado University. The weather was beautiful. Our evenings were spent around the fire pit enjoying the stars and great family stories. The home felt like our home for a short period of time. Thank you!!

Great place!!

The house is huge with lots of space to hang out. Fire pit was nice in the evenings. Lots of parking for a trailer and pickups if needed. The only negative feedback if you even call it that would be we got locked in the bathroom because the door knob was broke. There weren't enough trash bags in the kitchen to get us past the 2nd day. It may also be good to note in the ad that there is no air conditioning in the house. We survived because the nights were nice out. Overall awesome place to stay. We.loved it! Thank you.

Rustic and relaxing retreat

This was a clean and spacious home for our annual girls trip. Plenty of room for all 9 adults. Great rustic feel. Good location in town. Short walk around the corner to the Gunnison river. Thirty minute commute to Crested Butte, close to Blue Mesa. Our only suggestion is back deck had a few wood boards needing replacement, which was fine for our adult group, but could be a tripping hazard for older adults or kiddos. Overall great experience at this home. We'd stay again!

Warm, Cozy & Clean - Perfect for Families

My family has stayed at many VRBO and other vacation properties from Oregon to Michigan, Montana to Texas and Arizona. This beautiful property is one of our top five favorites and the only one we have stayed at twice. The layout is perfect for family gatherings with space to spread out, play games, watch TV, play pool or sit on the back patio with a warm fire. Comfortable beds and luxurious toiletries in the bathes and showers were a nice upgrade from our previous stay. I highly recommend this jewel in the Colorado mountains.

Very nice accomodation

Our family of 10 was here in November for elk hunting season. The house was very well supplied with linens and towels and the kitchen was also very well supplied with everything we needed. It is located in a nice neighborhood and close to town which has a Walmart and a couple of grocery stores for last minute supplies. We would stay here again.

Excellent property on the edge of Gunnison

The property is exactly as described. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy some home cooked meals and we enjoyed the back patio and fire pit. Would love to stay again.
