  • Enjoy your stay at Lake Guntersville in this floating cabin. 1 bedroom with queen bed and fold out couch in the living area provides room for three guests. With electric fireplace and plenty of space to dock your boat or personal watercrafts, there's no need to ever leave the cabin. It's also a great place to watch the sun rise and set as you fish from your own private deck. If you're looking to dine out, Wintzell's Oyster House is only steps away. Sorry no pets are allowed at the property. Please be aware before booking that it may not be the place for anyone with motion sickness. It is also more of a camping experience than a motel stay. The sewage system is a holding tank, like what is used in a camper or RV. It is pumped daily, but there is the chance of some odors as with any self contained unit. Dishes, bath towels, and cooking utensils are provided for your convenience.

One of the best cabins on the water! We absolutely enjoyed spending our ten year anniversary there it was the absolute best time and a great value! You are within walking distance to several great restaurants (highly recommend JDs grill!!!!!) The sunsets are spectacular! Everything about this cabin is perfect! I'd love to buy one and live there!

Such a unique experience! This was our 2nd visit, and it won't be the last. Steve made everything so easy, and the location is perfect for quick food or serious dining.

Staying in the floating house was a neat new experience for us. Location was slightly difficult to find, but the manager was helpful and responsive, and he got us to our destination.

Amazing comfortable stay great host quick to respond very nice! We had the best time was great to step straight from the back porch into the bass boat in the mornings! Very unique cabin we loved it and definitely want to come back again!

Steven was great and easy to communicate with. The check in process was smooth, no hiccups. We booked the place for 2 nights, unfortunately, Maintenance was pumping the sewer and the smell got pretty bad. This is absolutely nothing negative on the cabin itself or host. The cabin was in a great location and cute for staying directly on the lake. The only thing that could have been better (besides the hiccup of the pumping), was it has a few cobwebs inside. No biggie. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was surprising at first the way the facility rocked when boats rode bast but it would rock you to sleep. Only only problem was the gate to the walkway. But someone was helpful and told us to lift the handle and there was no problem after that.

It was just wonderful! Loved the cabin! Fishing was great! Does rock when boats and sea doos are going by and their playing, but it was okay with us. Incase the toilet gets a little clogged, no worries, we brought along, (camco TST max citrus scent RV toilet treatment 4 fluid Oz.) Worked like a charm, no worries, just Incase. It did rain for a couple of days, so we came prepared! Steven was always quick to answer, we enjoyed the rain and slept like a baby. We brought some sea sick medicine Incase the rocking bothered us, but it wasn't that bad and didn't need it. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did!! Can't wait till next year!! The cabin was very clean, and there was plenty of TP, paper towels, towels, washcloths and anything else you would need for your stay at the cabin!!
