“Do not expect a motel experience. This is a lodge next to a campground. Room had paint over molding, linoleum, carpet. Closet was not cleaned. “We loved the place. The hot tub did have a band aid in it when we got in. Only other feedback would be that there wasn’t any check out instructions I could find. Other VRBO locations had them on the app booking page as well as a printed sheet when you walk in which is super helpful.”

“We stayed for an extended weekend. The pictures do not do it justice! The house was very clean, the rooms are much larger than what is pictured, the beds were very comfortable, they have blackout curtain curtains, and the host was extremely responsive. The house is very close to an amazing bagel shop, a great park, the lake, and a beach. We had adults, 12yo, 9yo, and 1yo. Highly recommended!”

“This is one of the best properties we’ve stayed in in Pennsylvania. We completely missed for the first couple of days that there’s an entire room downstairs dedicated to an on-site play center. It’s very quiet in the views are incredible of the lake. We brought our dogs And they enjoyed not being around anybody else.”

“It was our first family cabin trip and we loved the experience. The property was nice and spacious and fit the 9 of us there. We were 3 teens and 6 adults and were able to fit in the main cabin. We also checked out oil creek state park. Our only issue was the low heat when using the stove for cooking. 9/10 would recommend. ”

“This property is so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved mornings and evenings on the deck watching horses and cows on the hillside while listening to birds. Short drive into Erie, where we absolutely loved Presque Isle state park. Also loved Riverside Brewing which is 10 minutes away. The owners were very welcoming with a sweet note and vase of fresh-cut lilacs from their bush. Would definitely come back”
