“Ideal location, great room and fabulous breakfast”

“Quirky property, lovely log fire, helpful staff. Good food. Dogs very well catered for. Would have preferred a groundfloor room, which was originally allocated, but ended up in a first floor room. Lot of noise from heavy traffic at the rear of the property which can be heard in the room”

“This hotel has great staff and plenty of options for food within walking distance My only moan is the rooms that are at the back facing the road get a lot more traffic noise than the front Especially loud motorbikes at 2am going past”

“In the centre of Abergavenny, a great place to spend time in the town, or use as a base for exploring the area in a very special hotel”

“Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok.”

“Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again.”
