This was an absolutely beautiful property. The owner asks you to meet him prior to check in to show you the grounds and give an overview of the property. We felt this was one of the best parts! Hearing the history of the grounds and how they built the property was fascinating. The room was extremely comfortable, breakfast everyday was delicious. Could not have asked for a better stay or better hosts. (Chad is a wealth of information on the island and places to visit- that was also much appreciated)

Chad and Jennifer were great host. The property is breathtaking and there are many special details throughout. You can tell Chad and Jennifer are very proud of their place, as they should be, it is gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property owned by Chad and Jennifer is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The property is large and immaculately maintained with gorgeous landscaping and outstanding views. We saw many whales from the lovely garden. Chad was very accommodating and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the lanai. The Banyan Suite was lovely. We would definitely stay again.

The location is lovely, room was lovely, grounds and pool areas very comfortable. Based on the VRBO amenities listing we thought we had full kitchen, when we go to the property we realized we didn't. Chad updated his listing to make correction. Be sure you read the rules in their entirety- I didn't realize we had to request the hot tub be heated, and that it would only be heated from 8pm-10pm. The information was in the rules.

This property is probably the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Our hosts were very welcoming. Our room was very large and comfortable, with everything we could possibly want or need. We love animals and enjoyed being greeted by the dogs and visiting the horses, ducks and tortoise. The gardens were beautiful and peaceful. The ocean view was magnificent. I would love to stay here again.

My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at Hale Laule’a with terrific hosts Jennifer and Chad. Their resort is nothing short of extraordinary and we were incredibly grateful to be able to stay and experience it. We stayed in the one bedroom Banyan suite which was spacious and comfortable, eagerly looking forward to the provided breakfast on the lanai. Spectacular ocean points were a short walk down the road. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was an amazing place to stay. The property is beautiful & very well taken care of. The coastal views, stargazing, and watching the sunrise can’t be beat. We had such a nice time staying in our Hawaiian Celebration! We booked the Bantam Suite (which looks upon the incredible heritage banyan tree on the property), but when we arrived we were offered the Carriage House due to a cancellation – we took it, and it gave us a kitchen, a LOT of space, and ocean views (and lovely sunrises) right from the bed. The property is so clean, well-cared for, and with breathtaking views – we wandered, relaxing in the many lovely outdoor areas, and enjoying the dogs, horses, ducks, tortoise and other animals on the property... The hosts are so kind and interesting, we really enjoyed interacting with them, and they had SO many cool, fun, and fascinating suggestions for walks and activities nearby! Highly recommended!

The property was beautiful but honestly not as great as many rentals we have stayed at in the past. AC makes a high pitch noise when on and you can hear everything from inside of the house from the room. I heard someone shuffling with stuff at 6am and things being dropped in the kitchen. Leaving the property was tough as their gate was broken. We would spend 5 min closing the gate. This became an issue when it wouldn't close after repeatedly entering the code and the owners just watched. They however are very friendly.

Amazing 5-Star Property

Simply amazing! Chad and Jennifer’s property is located on a cliff with incredible views of the ocean and several gardens and sitting areas from which to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine and watch the surf. Sitting by the pool as Jennifer exercised her horse was a nice way to unwind. The apartment was comfortable and as advertised. The B&B-style breakfast was light and tasty with fresh mango from the property, homemade smoothies, and sticky rolls The property is just a few minutes from Hilo for a nice dining experience and a great locale for exploring hiking trails and natural wonders on the Big Island. Chad and Jennifer shared a wealth of info that made our experience all the better. Definitely recommend!

Unbelievably Serene

Chad and Jennifer have created an amazing property and were kind and gracious hosts. The views were spectacular and the immense gardens were peaceful and serene. The pool was comfortable even when it was cloudy and gazing at the stars from the heated spa was a perfect way to end the day. Would love to visit again soon.
