Immediately after booking I was sent a text message saying I would need to sign up for a different site for security purposes. When I asked for clarification I did not receive a response for weeks until after I messaged again on the vrbo app. Communication on the hosts end was sparse and was only sent by text message. I only received messages on the vrbo app after I said I wanted to cancel my booking.
I attempted to cancel the booking after weeks of terrible communication but the refund window had passed. I did not end up staying at the location and did not receive my refund in the end.
