The best thing about this property is the location. A great spot. We had stayed here multiple times however this time under the new ownership was appalling. It is such a shame that it has been run into the ground as it used to be great. From the time we tried to check in with no one on reception, then a grumpy man who didn't speak english arrived and to our surprise he worked there, we thought he was a guest. We checked in and the room was spacious, with a relatively new looking bathroom. Not the cleanest unfortunately though. The room had a toaster but no plates or knives so pretty pointless. There were cups and a tea towel but no washing liquid. There was a games room which in itself was a challenge to get into. Turns out you need a special key but no one tells you this. Once in it was ok but the pool table leans and the fuzball table has a main.player missing legs. We couldn't use the pool for the first two days as it was filthy and the lead up to it had rubbish and a dirty nappy. We asked multiple times for it to be cleaned but it wasn't. It was only when we requested a discount as we couldn't use the facilities that they got someone to clean it. The kids play area had empty stubbies and rubbish all around it, again asked multiple time over there days, it was still the same when we left. The care factor for their business is zero. The grounds are unkept as are the staff, the reception guy had the same clothes on for the whole time we were there. Avoid this place.

Rubbish everywhere. When we arrived, two young men were at reception on their phones, one of them could spend 30 minutes picking up litter. Towels weren't changed, bin wasn't emptied. The spare blanket was just chucked in the cupboard unfolded. Curtains were broken. Room had one teaspoon. There was no microwave in the room, but saw one on a seat in the carpark (?). Things to work on.

Quick in and out. Very courteous staff and helpful. No microwave in the room but theres mini fridge and kettle. stocked with tea coffee sugar body lotion, shampoo etc. Sufficient towels and nice bedding. Great view. Happy with the stay and happy to come back!

We arrived early but it wasn't a problem to get into our room. We met one of the owner and his daughters which are really friendly people. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in the newly opened restaurant as well as all the wild kangaroos roaming the city. That place is definitely a recommendation. Veraltetes, heruntergekommenes und dreckiges Zimmer, haben uns gar nicht wohl gefühlt. Einzig gut ist die Nähe zu den Grampians Wanderwege.

The mugs and glassware in the room were dirty. The place had an unkept and not quite clean feeling. That said, the bed was comfortable, the room was sizable and the location was good.

Bed wasn’t great and wasn’t made to hotel standards. Shower door was hard to close. Bit tired - rooms need updating. The outside grounds were unkept and not looked after. Bits of rubbish laying around. Needs a good tidy up.

Did not enjoy the stay here for two nights. There is never any staff at reception, the restaurant and bar were closed, no breakfast available, no room service available, matress was too soft, was did not go down the bathroom shower hole whilst showering so always standing in soapy water whilst showering, the bathroom floor tiles were old - did not get replaced when bathroom was renovated. Furniture in room was old and so were the curtains, carpet was old and uninviting. The room was not serviced at all after the first night. Would not stay here again and a rip off for what you pay for the room - and we were in the business room as well...:(

The worst experience ever! Incredibly dirty and unhygienic, no housekeeping and they don’t even change towels or bins even when asked multiple times. Carpet was filthy and smelly, towels were brown and stained despite my repeated requests for clean towels. I would never stay here again.

The motel itself is very run dow the gardens and gazebo areas very untidy and unkept.The room was very old and outdated badly needs upgrading although the bed was comfortable. The price was far too expensive. Will not be staying there again.

The location is stunning and it’s clear the town is still recovering after the fires. The hotel’s a quick walk to town, but the website really needs an update. Our room looked refreshed, but the shower was a nightmare—either boiling or freezing, no in-between. Reception was empty the whole time, so no way to report it. Most facilities weren’t working: games room locked, restaurant and café clearly closed for ages, gym and sauna looked abandoned. Rubbish bags and loose rubbish scattered everywhere, throughout the grounds of this beautiful property. Laundry seemed to work though. This place has real potential, but right now it’s not what’s advertise
