“Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. There were cups, glasses and wine-glasses, and milk in the fridge. It was situated on the far edge...

“What an absolutely amazing place to stay for the night. Loved the warm fire on a chilly night along with the old record player, cozy bed, waking up to the beautiful birds singing and delicious fresh produce for brekkie. No detail has been spared; this is one of the best places we've stayed. A beautifully renovated old school, highly recommend!”

“We loved our weekend getaway in the Chevy. Shaun and John were wonderful, generous, and helpful hosts, we spent a lot of time just admiring the beautiful views over the hills, and the horses were an extra bonus! We'll definitely be back - and in fact we've already booked for our two daughters to have a stay at they can experience it also.”
