I have stayed in many hotels in the Old Quarter during my one-month trip in Vietnam, and Bonjour D'An Nam is by far the best hotel I have experienced.
The breakfast is abundant, convenient, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The room is comfortable, spacious, and quiet — exactly what I need for a good night’s sleep. One thing I wish they could improve is the availability of power outlets in the room; I struggled to charge my phone as there were no outlets near the bed.
What truly makes this hotel stand out, however, is the staff. As I was traveling alone, Fiona was incredibly helpful in assisting me with all my questions and travel plans. She arranged my airport pick-up at 5 a.m., organized my one-day city tour (which was so much fun), and their recommendation for a Ha Long Bay cruise was exceptional — I genuinely enjoyed every part of it.
When I checked in, Lucy was there to support me with all my requests. From recommending great places to eat, sharing practical tips to get around and make the most of Hanoi, to introducing me to the unique features of the area — I honestly felt like she could be my private tour guide. Trust me when I say, you will be treated like a king or queen by this service team. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible journey in Hanoi.
