Do not book here. I’m extremely irritated with Expedia and myself for not cross checking this hotel. I don’t know how it is rated ‘very good’. We were meant to stay 9 nights and left after 1, kissing our money goodbye. If we didn’t arrive so late I would’ve walked out immediately after check in. (I will continue to try and take this up with Expedia). The room was old and dirty, the bathroom in particular was filthy. I wish I could add photos. The sink and toilet were dirty (this is also a non tissue flushing toilet, which wouldn’t have been such a big deal if the bidet looked even remotely clean. I wrapped it in tissue to touch it). It was just generally terrible, old, and filthy, we showered with sandals on as a precaution. The towels were not clean, and had visible dirt on them. I was itching in the bed sheets and after looking at other experiences I am now concerned it was bugs. There was no lake view but at that point it was the least of my worries.
Please cross check every hotel you book through Expedia because they may be completely and utterly misleading.
