I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment and outrage regarding a recent hotel stay booked through platform . The experience was nothing short of a nightmare, severely impacting my travel and well-being, and reflects an unacceptable standard of service from both the property and, regrettably, from Expedia's customer support.Upon my arrival, the pervasive lack of cleanliness was immediately apparent and deeply concerning. The room, particularly the floor, was visibly dirty, and to my horror, I discovered bed bugs in the mattress, resulting in multiple painful bites. This constitutes a serious health and hygiene violation that made the accommodation uninhabitable. My repeated attempts to secure basic amenities, such as an iron and additional bedding, from the hotel staff were met with no response, further highlighting the property's dereliction of duty. Communication was also significantly hampered by a language barrier with on-site personnel, making it impossible to address these critical issues effectively.
By the second day, the conditions had become so intolerable that I felt compelled to reach out to Expedia's customer service, desperately seeking a transfer to an alternative, habitable hotel. While the representative attempted to contact the property manager, I was informed that the manager was unavailable. The only advice provided was for me to independently secure alternative accommodation, with no guarantee of a refund for the remaining nights
