“When we saw the room was disappointing. In the description it said it has heating, but the only thing it had was a little heat fan. We probably wouldn't have taken that room (or hotel) if we had known it. By the way, our bathroom had a water leak (or it seemed it), but when we arrived at night we found a cockroach in the room and we asked for to change the room. Finally, they found that a pipe was broken. One last thing, the description said "free wifi" and it's true, but only 500MB. Nowadays...

“The place was great! Maybe not for everyone but perfect for anyone with kids or just looking for something a little different. We are seniors but have done a lot of camping and this was glamping at its best. We picked the yurt which had an outdoor kitchen and an external bathroom. Everything felt really authentic yet still very modern. It all was just there as one would expect from a nice hotel but presented in a different way. Kind of a cowboy camp or depression era type of a kitchen outside...

“Our courtyard room was perfect for our 2 night stay and the hotel is situated across the road from the beachfront. The centre of Kaikoura where the main shops and restaurants are was just a bit too far for us to walk to but not a problem as plenty of parking available. Small onsite car park but parking available in street outside hotel if full.”
