“My husband and I had never been to the thumb region of Michigan and decided to spend a long weekend exploring. We chose to stay in this really delightful house in Port Sanilac, and it was great! The property is attractive, comfortable, and right on Lake Huron, and we walked to shops, restaurants, the harbor, and the farmers' market. Excellent experience all around and we highly recommend it!”

“The house is a nice house with a very comfy couch in a great neighborhood close to everything! The issues we encountered were the side walk from the drive to the front porch has many trip hazards and is broken up, the wood front porch was slippery when rained on, we found a few ants wandering around inside the house and check out time would be nice to at 11 instead of 10 because we feel rushed with the check out process. We would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay!”

“The location of this home as well as the home itself is more than perfect for enjoying Port Austin and the surrounding area. The host just needs to be a bit more aware of securing her personal belongings so the home is more "welcoming" to those renting it for their vacation. Overall, though, it was a great weekend.”

“We visited with 5 families and the property was the perfect fit for our needs. It was very clean and the amenities are endless. There is so much room both inside and outside, a spacious commercial kitchen to prepare food, plenty of fridge space, grills outside, a fire pit and plenty of TV's for your family to watch football. ;) Our adult kids enjoyed the basketball, pickle ball and volleyball courts in addition to the kayaks. There is a ton of space for other outdoor games, but plenty of room to...

“We loved the location and the rental property. The cabin had everything we needed. Our only complaint was it didn't have comfortable seating inside. We're 64 & 65 years old and would have preferred recliner chairs or another couch so we could both lay down and stretch out at the end of a long day of shopping, hiking and kayaking. We had beautiful weather our entire stay. Thank you so much!!”

“Overall, we had a great stay in this house. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds were very firm. The kitchen had everything we needed if we had decided to cook but we chose to eat out both nights. The Stone Lodge (restaurant/bar) is right next door and there are a couple other bars/restaurants within walking distance. We'd definitely stay again if we go back to this area.”
